Question about Cuisinart ICE-20 Automatic Frozen Yogurt 1.5 Quart Ice Cream Maker
I've just made the basic vanilla ice cream recipe in my brand new Cuisinart Ice 20. After about 25 minutes of mixing, the consistency was fine and looked smooth. However, when one eats the ice cream, a slimy white residue is left in one's mouth. It's very unappealing and glue-like. What can I do to prevent this problem? Is the problem with the ice cream maker or the heavy cream ingredients I'm using?
Most likely the type of heavy whipping cream. I have successfully used TG Lee and Publix brand Heavy Whipping Cream, and have not experienced the problem you are reporting. It was downright delicious.
