Do you use Windows Media Player? If so, you can go to MP3skull.com. They have the latest music added almost every time. Search for the song. Then if you see the song, you will see the download button. Now, DON'T CLICK ON IT WITH THE LEFT CLICK. Right click the word download highlighted. Then click save link as. Name the file and choose where you want to store it. Then download will begin. If it shows save, save. Then when done, go to folder page and look into music. Right click your song and click open. then it will open the song in Windows Media Player. Now, plug in your MP3 into the computer. To sync your song, look to the right and try to make it say sync from computer to MP3. Then look for the song and drag it to the right. Then as soon as you're done adding songs, click the sync button to start syncing. Then when all is completed, unplug the MP3. Now play it! If errors, this is all I know for now...

Most likely it requires windows media player version 10 or higher which unfortunately is not compatible with windows 98 so that way will not work. You may be able to bypass windows media player by going to the manufactuers website and downloading a specialized driver for windows 98 and then drag and dropping your music onto the pkayer if this doesn't work I am sorry

I have windows 98 can i download songs to my mp3 trio

The MP3 player uses a USB cable to download music files from the computer. Windows 98 does not support USB port even if the computer has a USB port. If the computer has a USB port then you need to install a Windows 98 USB driver so it can connect with the MP3 player to download mp3 music files.

How do i put music on my ilo mp3 player?, when i upload it onto my computer. it wants me to either download a windows 98 driver or to put it in a different usb port.

use a xp machine and see if it work.if so then 98 won't work with your mp3.98 may have usb ports but you need special driver for it.some don't exist since the mp3 was built for xp or up-to-date operating systems.ou can charge it but not put songs.windows 2000 will work.there is very little usb devices that work with 98

This is a simple formatting problem, To fix itSOLUTION 1:well there isnt really a way, other than instead of using windows media player directly, you can copy it out of the disc folder (in my computer) and into your my music folder and then import it from your my music folderSOLUTION 2:You can download itunes for free, upload discs to your itunes and then make a new disc (make sure it is in mp3 format<you will see what i mean>) and the rip the disc like you normally do Hope i helped If this doesnt work the email me at dirtyfairy@live.com.aucheers

I can't download music on my Coby mp605 without the disc

Your best bet is to buy tracks that are in mp3 format directly, since DRM-protected WMA's will give you problems eventually (even though the mp3 files are more expensive).

Once you have downloaded them, you can use the program called Windows Media Player to transfer songs to your Coby.

A full user manual for your model is available on Coby's website.

sEVERAL POSSIBILITIES:
* You downloaded protected music on your Windows 98/98SE, Windows 2000, Windows XP computer using Windows Media Player 9. Music was purchased online or the music was ripped form your own audio CD with Copyright Protection turned ON.
o You must use Windows XP and Windows Media Player 10 for online purchased songs.
o You must turn OFF Copy Protection on your Windows Media Player 9 before ripping your audio CDs into WMA files
* You downloaded protected music to your MP3 player using your Windows XP computer and Windows Media Player 10 with your player in USB mode. Music was downloaded from the internet, purchased or subscribed, or it was ripped from your own audio CD with Copyright protection turned ON.
o You have to use your MW3836 in MTP mode.

Mp3 [coby]

There's a driver for Windows 98 on their website, www.cobyusa.com -- go there, then find your device - when the page loads, you should see "downloads" - in that, there's a driver. Download and install and you should be just fine.
