Sounds like your printer has an attitude problem try restoring to default settings then unplug hold down power button for 10 seconds plug back in the press the power button to turn the unit on.... Let me know how it goes otherwise if its still under warranty then they should take it back and get it fixed

Print Error?

You are more than likely sending it a print job for an incorrect paper size..ie American fullscap or letter if you are European.
Press the print button on the copier and it will tell you what the problem is.You can try loading paper into the MFP tray and pressing go-should work.

I am feeding a portrait fax letter size and it is being received partially - one half is cut off. please explain

It sounds as if the document feeder is not recognizing the proper size of paper. Try making a copy, is the copy correct or is the copier indicating to load a certain size of paper. The paper width guides as well as the raised tabs on the document feeder tell the copier the proper paper size. Could the problem be on the other end? I know I have several customers that have the paper size dials or indicators incorrect for the paper in their cassettes. This would be if only a single reciever of your fax is complaining. You may want to see if rotating the fax in the LTR-R direction works.

Copier Only prints half the page

Sounds to me that the paper tray is set incorrectly. There is a dial on the back of the machine that needs to be set correctly once the paper tray guides are adjusted accordingly -particularly when running 8 1/2 x 11" (letter) size paper. It can be set to run either lengthwise, or laterally (portrait) make sure the dial is set to the proper setting on ALL trays. If the tray is set for lateral, for example, and the paper is installed lengthwise, the scanner only utilizes 8 1/2" in length rather than the full 11". Frequent jamming is also a common problem when making multiple copies, because the paper is not where the machine "expects" it to be. Also check that the LCD display reads the proper size / orientation after adjustment.

Hope this helps. Please rate solution :)

IBM 1422 not feeding 8 1/2 x 11 paper through multipurpose feeder

Go into the paper menu and set the multipurpose feeder paper size to letter. It will work if the paper size is set correctly for the MPF.

Change papaer size and frequent papaer jams

OK it seems to be a problem with pick up clutch and vertical feed rollers ( When you open the left door and hinge in level of cass you will see axis with the tree little rollers- clean it with alcohol or water).Pick up clutch is better to replace it FK2-1068 (europe code).

CANON IR2000 CANT PRINT MORE THAN 1 COPY

You just stated the problem yourself!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Are you using Letter or Legal?? then the tray need to be set to that particular size.

If using Legal set to Legal, otherwise the machine will automatically know you are using the wrong size.

1- set tray 1 either to paper size letter or any
then paper type to ANY
2- set tray 2 to Letter and Plain

3- go to file - print - right click on printer- properties- device settings make sure you have the properties correct. ( letter size, any options must be listed here, duplex, stapler etc.. and set to on

Tray 1- load plain letter

Linda,

On printer check media/paper type tray 2 or 3 is plain and tray 2/3 is set for letter paper size too, via printer control panel. Also check under paper handling other options for tray 1, also on tray 2 and 3, I think there is a blue little round switch on left should be set as letter not custom.

Some paper types cannot be feed from anywhere else but tray1/bypass ie labels/laminate/card stock.

Check print driver on pc has tray 3 option installed and is not set as default to print to manual bypass/tray 1

light flashing cause printer wants paper type/size that it "thinks" it hasn't got in tray 2/3

If that dont cover it...post back
