I recommend taking it back to the place of purchase and have it taken care of under warranty, there is nothing more that can be done with the present situation.

Probably not. Why do you think they only offer a 90-day warranty? Even the poorest quality electronics normally offer a one year parts and labor warranty. To have only 90 days coverage is a big red flag that says "Don't buy me!"
hi if you brought the tv in november might best to get in contact where you got it from ask them to send a tech out, you won't have to pay as it should be covered by the warranty good luck
okay i would advise you to take the tv back to the store you bought it from..probably its on warranty..have them replace the tv.and please dont open it or you will void the warranty.to make certain that the set is damage.pull the plug out of the power outlet let it stand for a whole day and plug it in back.see what it does.good luck.
You have failing pixels. The screen is not woking as it should but having said that there is a tollerance allowed by the manufacturers, dependant upon possition. Sanyo, with their LCD Projectors had a formula to work the problem out, I will not share that with the world as it may give issues later on. There wer however, a few pixels allowed before a replacement screen was ordered whilst under manufacturers warranty. Basically, if it gets too bad, as it is out of warranty I presume, a replacement Screen or a replacement set will be reyuired.
This unit should still be under warranty and should be taken in for warranty service. Any attempt to access the interior will void the warranty. It is important that a complete description of the problem like you entered here be taken along when you bring the set in for service. This will insure that the servicer be able to reproduce the problem and resolve it.
From your description (and as a servicer), I would be looking for a component that is heat sensitive. These types of problems are fairly easy to locate and resolve.
Please take this in for warranty service and update this when you find out the details.
If I understand your problem correctly, it sounds like the unit is not coming on... If this is correct, then replace the 3 capacitors on the output side of the power supply. There are 2@1000uF @25V and 1 smaller one which is 220uF@25V. I think the part number on the board is marked as WX-15/19/20Power-01... This worked on a 19 curtis LCDVD191 Hope this helps...
