Dirty filter or low on charge is the usual culprit.

Fan runs on outside unit, but no air blows in the house

Listen for the motor if its sounds and thou its running it probably is, the indoor coil could be iced up, if so turn on the fan and turn off the cooling and let it thaw out. Check the air filter and coil that they are clean, setting the stat to low below 72 degrees would cause the coil to frezz as well. If motor is not running, it could be bad, but there are onther things that could be causing it to not run.

It frezzing up not getting cold i see the ice inside the window unit when i take off the filter

Either your not getting enough BTU's across
the evaporator ,because the system has a refrigerant
leak & it boils off too soon & freezes the coil or the
fan isn't working

Could have a bad thermostat but I doubt it

My air conditioner frezzses up sometimes. i got it tilted down on back side.some water drips out .but i wonder if i should take a plug out to let more water out to keep from frezzing up.

The freezing is caused by too little airflow over the evaporator coil or a low refrigerant charge. Make sure your air filters and the evaporator coil and condenser coil are clean. If the charge is low it may be cheaper to get a new unit than to charge an old one.

The air unit is frezzing up and the air is never under 70 degress in the house! whats making it keep frezzing up?

Hi, when the unit freezes up, it is either low on freon, a plugged a/c filter, or the evaporator coil is dirty and will need to be cleaned. When the evap. coil freezes up, the blower motor can't blow air through the coil. Check the filter, and behind the filter to see if the coil is dirty, just remove the screws to excess the evap. coil on this unit. Make sure the blower motor is running up to speed also. You will know. If the coil is dirty, try and clean it the best you can and replace the filter. If it continues to ice, you will need to have the freon level checked> These are the # 1 causes of coils icing up. Please let me know how it turns out.

It wont cycle on and off and is frezzing up

one of two things could be the problem. Check to see there isnt any blockage to the coils i.e. dirty, secondly, It sounds as if your unit is low on freon.

Rudd central unit frezzing up

One of two problems dirty filter. And if you don't have a filter dirty A-Coil. one solution second one Low on Freon which brings up another problem leak in system somewhere.

Suction line frezzes up every three or four dats

Check your air filter and evaporator coil if clean, but if its clean then may be the unit is under charge and need to recharge freon.
