Hello, I have exactly the same problem with the exact same TV, white screen for about 15 minutes and than image appears perfect as if nothing happened. I have asked an ebayer which sells TV parts and he suggested it could be a main board or tcon board. I am quiet hesitant to fix my tv, but if the tcon board would fix it, i'd go for it. Did You manage to solve the problem yet?
Hi . I am still using my tv waiting for about 15 mins for the picture to appear, but then a great picture. I havent as yet been able to obtain the correct t-con board as yet but looking daily for the correct one to be put up for sale. The thing that i did notice however was originally the tv took 35 mins to come on but since I took the t-con board out and replaced it carefully it comes on in 15mins. Hope this helps a little bit !
Regards JP.
Ok, now I do not think it is the tcon board, having sprayed all the connections :P . I have opened the tv many times while it was switched on (i know I should be doing this but anyway. ps be careful of the inverter boards, they gave me a wee shock) and have realized that when I slightly pressure on any of the top corners and try to rotate it the picture miraculously appears. When I stop pressing, sometimes the image stays on until switched off and cooled dawn, but sometimes it disappears immediately. I reckon that the tv has some earth problem somewhere within the construction and there is either a short circuit or incomplete circuit. when the tv worms up, materials expand and complete it or something. I still didn't manage to see where the problem is exactly but I came across all el. circuits within the TV, and when I have some time I will try and study them carefully and rule out individual components. Meanwhile I have to study for my Highers :/
Thanks for your observation I think you could be right re earth connections I am a bit worried re looking with tv switched on however if I find something I will let you know. Perhaps you will do the same for me Regards JP.
