Question about Digital Cameras

1 Answer

I have a Samsung Slim Zoom 115A, Quartz Date, 35mm Camera. It stopped working on recent vacation. It would not zoom or allow me to snap any pictures. New batteries did not correct this problem. Can it be fixed?

With the actual model number you should be able to find it at samsung.com. Samsung is good about making manuals available on their website under Support.

For several years my C-3020 zoom camera has worked fine. Suddenly, now when I take a picture, the picture leaves when I snap the shutter. Always before the picture remained on the screen so I could see if...

In the camera menu, there should be a setting for "review" to allow you to set the number of seconds the picture remains on the screen. Also, you can always review the pictures you've taken by pressing the review button on the camera...it's usually a button with an arrow that points to the right.

Is there a setting to display a date stamp on the pictures?

The date is held in the EXIF data in the photo file, you can view that on your PC. Some shop photo kiosks let you print this on the photo. As far as I am aware there is no setting in the camera to get the date to print on the photo like 35mm cameras often did.

Canon SD550 Digital Zoom Not Working

Digital Zoom is best ignored in any camera it simply blows up a section of an image already taken, You can do that far better with an image editor in the computer. As for the Optical Zoom - it does indeed seem to be repair time- As it is only a year and half old- may be Canin will be sympathetic and offer a cheap swap out.
