Try unplugging power cable for two minutes and see if it clear the error

HP has extended the warranty and sent a new printer as a replacement to owners with the same problem. It is a kind of recall I guess check this link: http://www.fixyourownprinter.com/forums/...
And contact HP using the number at the end of the user manual.

If neither of the steps above fixed the problem, either the cartridge or the printer is faulty.

HP officejet 6210 all in one...message is"remove

Hi Jim,

When you install a new cartridge, be sure not to touch the contacts, and make sure the contacts on the cartridge align with the contacts on the printer, and all packing tape has been removed. If the contacts on the printter are coated with dry ink, you should clean them with a cotton swab and distilled water. Dampen the swab and wipe off the dry ink on the contacts and let it dryt. Also, run the cartridge alignment on the new cartridge.

I hope this helps. Let me know if you need further assistance.

Check right cartrige

change the cartridge if you still face an issue,Your printer hardware has malfunctioned, you may or may not like this idea.
you can clean the contacts on the cartridge, then cleant the contacts inside the printer where the cartridges lay,if you still face the problem, call into hp at 1800-474-6836 and see if they can offer you an upgrade with a 50% discount or a new printer for just $130 which is wireless and usb capable.

Black Cartridge

Hi - If you are saying that the right side cartridge is the black cartrige that you have replaced, then I have two suggestions that may help. If the cartrige is a new HP genuine product I would take it back. If not, I would return the cartrige you have and buy a genuine HP for the printer. Though an expensive solution, there is always a chance of defects from either party. The remanufactured or refilled cartrige will have a date on it. The circuit board on these can wear out and then not be recognizable over time. Second suggestion if you have not already done this, a cotton swab or Q tip dipped in distilled water(damp only) to wipe down the circut board on the printer where the cartrige will connect to it, may help. Turn off the printer to do this. Make sure it is dry when you turn it on and reinstall the new cartrige. Hope this helps.
