Check your consumbales to be sure they are tight in the torch head. Check your ground be sure it's good and connected to the pc you are cutting. Make sure you are running air at 65 to 70 psi as it exits the torch. Email me if you have any other questions.
worked on units for several years,my first thought was torch consumables, then torch itself,so here we go.make sure all the consumables are exact for the torch, make sure all parts are brand new,(all parts, that way we can elimenate that part of trouble shooting).check that the ground is tight on the unit and work peice. When you bought the new torch head did you also buy the lead to the head?If not possible that could be the problem.
Provided Air is between 60 and 80 psi (common operating range).
Power is measured to be in range as per label or manual specs.
Replaced all consummables on the torch head.
Usually the next step is to change the Torch Head. After all else fails this is usually the problem, especially if the torch head became hot while cutting.
If you have a bad air supply then the moisture in the air will cause the torch to cut off and the cut quality depends also on air supply, speed, metal thickness and condition of your consumables, meaning your electrode and other related parts in the torch tip.Hope this helps
