Question about Cyberhome CH-DVD 300 DVD Player
When i am trying to power on by remote or manual, it never turns green. But it displays in TV as if power on and no action is working like open, close etc..
There was a problem with Electrolytic capacitors a few years back. It affected all kinds of electronics. When these capacitors blow, the unit may look dead or if operating act erratic.
With unit unplugged open it, and look at the power supply (small tan board). Check the electrolytic capacitors they are the taller cylinder shaped objects on the board. Look at the top of all of them, they should be flat. If any are bulged upward, they need to be replaced. The two suspect ones will be towards the front of the unit, by the transformer.
