Klh powered subwoofer model ASW10-120B... when you plug in to power... it makes a loud buzzing/humming noise

I would check the caps on the power supply. They are rather large electrolytic capacitors that will look like they burst and/or leaking. When these die, the caps ground and the sub will make a loud buzzing sound. If you are handy with a soldering iron you can replace them yourself. Replace them with the same voltage or a little bigger and same with the size.

If the cap. says 16v 4700pF on it, for example, a 20v 5300pF or a 16v 6200mF cap. will work for this application.

Why does Infinity TSS-1200 subwoofer make grinding noise?

If it isn't brand new, it sounds like the voice coil is striking. This can be caused by damage to the suspension system or simply an overheated voice coil inside the sub. No easy fix unless your handy at rebuilding speakers. I would suggest buying a new one or sending back under warranty if it is still within warranty period

Loud buzzing noise

Is the vibration coming from the heatsink itself or from the fan running at high speed?

I highly doubt the processor itself is vibrating; no moving parts to vibate. A more likely suspect would be one or more of the fan blades having gone out of balance and causing it to resonate at certain RPMs.

What cooler are you using?

Increase Engine Horsepower.

Engine makes alot of noise

There can be many reasons for the noise but if you can pour some water on the fan belt and the AC belt while the engine is started and if the noise drops off then the belt can be faulty. Also check the pulley idler, check the water pump. If not there can be faulty timing chain , idler or within the engine.

My sw 15 sub woofer is making aloud humming noise ithink it is oprably the fan

Most likely, you could feel the fan if it was that, but it could also be the the cord that connects the Sub to the main console, much like guitar feedback on an amp

Amp makes noise when volume is off

Subwoofers are more susceptible to magnetic and radio frequency interference than your average speaker, or more commonly called RFI.

If you have a RadioShack or other electronics store nearby, purchase a ground loop isolator. This will ground any of the stray electrical pulses around your subwoofer. It is very easy to install and plugs directly into the RCA jack of the subwoofer and should eliminate the problem.

If this does not solve your problem, I suggest bringing your unit in for service if the noise is bothersome.
