Hi it may work in the device if first you use a PC and format the SD card FAT16, (Or whatever format your device may use) Then return it to the device, often it will then be "seen" and one is then able to Format it with the device, then it should work fine.
If it cannot be formatted in the PC then it is faulty, as it would be too, if after a format it was put back into the device and it wasn't "seen".

Just bought a Nokia Fold 2720 - unlocked. Inserted SIM Card and get message when Texting "Sim Card not ready"

Hello,

Once you insert a sim card inside the phone. Be patient with it, allow it read the sim card, and settle its software. If you try to send a message when you just insert the sim into a phone, the message you will be getting is 'sim card not ready'.

Please insert the sim back into your phone and wait for about 3 minutes before trying to send a text. That way the sim card would have been ready to perform your operation for you.

Thank you for using fixya

I have an error message on screen, 18 aux I0 not ready what does this mean

It means the modular I/O card is not ready. Check the MIO card documentation. More then likely, the printer will display this message until the problem with the card is corrected. You can check to see if this is the problem by removing the card and seeing if the error message is still being displayed. Be sure to check your documentation for the correct procedure to remove the MIO card. Faiture to follow the manufacturer's directions and recommendations can cause harm to your computer or possible loss of valuable data.

Message storage memory not ready

perform a hard restore by keying in on the home screen *#7370# then follow with the default security code "12345" then click yes

that code may not work for all nokia series you can also try *#7780# followed by "12345" then yes

if that doesent work take it to the nearest phone outlet
