Fisher Turnable MT 6435

My 3 year old daughter twisted the turntable arm backwards and now the movement is very limited...ie if it was playing a LP it might only play the first few seconds and that would be the limit of the movement. It also will not shut down. I took it apart and cannot find anything noticeable to fix. Any thoughts.
