Question about Adobe Photoshop CS2 for PC

Color adjustment tool does not work

I drew a white light saber in Photoshop CS2, all according to tutorials I saw on the internet. However, in order to make it red, I need to use the "color adjustment" tool. I try to make it red, but nothing happens to the image. In History it says that I have done color adjustment, but I do not see the change in color. Please help. Thanks!

Try drawing a medium grey line and then try changing the color. You should see now that you are able to affect the pixel color.

My type tools does not work.

Perhaps you've got the text color set to the same color as your background (both white). With the text tool selected, left-click on your document once, then left-click on the 'set the text color' box in your toolbar. Choose a color that is dark enough to show up in your screen. Make sure your text size is large enough to show at your current screen resolution.
