Question about Durabrand DVD-1002 DVD Player
I bought the DVD player 4 months ago and it has already quit. Im upset and I want it replaced. However, when I try to call Durabrand customer service number on the back of the DVD player it tells me I have the wrong number (another stupid recording) I either want m y money or I want a new one. DO you know the Durabrand customer service number????
My brother is having the same problem with his Durabrand 1002 DVD player. He has had his for 7 months to the day, not it will not play any DVD's. Through searching other sites, I found the Customer Service phone # for Initial Technology who handles Durabrand calls. The phone # is
(800)216-5156 and they are available Mon-Fri 7 am-5 pm PST. You will need the serial #, model # and the date of your purchase receipt in order for them to help you though. I was also told they will give you Durabrand support up to one (1) year of purchase, then you will have to go else where with any technical problems, fixes, etc. I hope this help you. I am calling them in the morning.

Turn the player off, unplug it for about 10 seconds & restart
If you can get it to come on, try hitting the menu button & you will find reset there or you can go through all of it & set your own preferences. Good luck. I had problems with mine using the new digital box everyone is going to have to get if they are not on Cable, Satelite etc....It works great now. I ran an RF box w/ (2) switches.
