"Instructions for "resetting" your home page to the old Yahoo! web page vs. the "new and improved" version.

1. Open your browser and go to a non-Yahoo web page.

2. Go into your options and clear your cookies.

3. Block the following cookie: m.www.yahoo.com

4. Close your browser (just for giggles).

5. Open your browser. You should be able to get the old Yahoo! web page even after you log back into your Yahoo! account.

This works for me using Mozilla FireFox 3"

I don't like the new inbox I want the old one now if you won't switch me you are forcing me into something that I hate and I will end canceling my internet

Please don't be upset. The switch was mandatory at some point, but Yahoo does know that there are issues with the new version.

To switch back, sign into your mail account. Click options on the right hand side of the page, and click switch to mail classic.

This will switch your account back to the old version.

Nothing works since you upgraded me. Can't delete, can't go into contacts, cant sign out.

I apologise for the delay, a fix was just brought to my attention.

When you sign into your mail page, simply do the following:

Click on options, on the right hand side of the page. Click Switch to Mail Classic.

This will return you to the old Yahoo Mail where things will be back to the way you were used to.

MI clicked on the new yahoo email page I don't like it and wan't to return to my old page

After the introduction of the new version of mail, Yahoo will not be returning back to the classic version. Unfortunately the reviews I've read make it look like the best mail program out there, which is not proving to be the case.

My advice is to contact Yahoo as I have, and ask them to change it back due to the issues you're facing. If enough people do this, then maybe they'll reconsider their actions.

Want to have my old look in Yahoo mail. I have to use my mouse to find emotions and attach etc. My old yahoo mail was ciolorful and now it is not and I just want my yahoo mail page to look the way it use...

Yahoo Mail upgraded recently. There is no way to return to the old version.

I would suggest attempting to get used to it, everyone will have to once the transition is fully completed.

Many people are voicing the same concern, but I doubt that Yahoo would listen to these complaints and change the mail program back. They may tweak it a little bit, but I think that's all they would do.

My yahoo mail page was automatically updateed, i want the old one back

Hello, I'm sorry but this is no longer possible. Yahoo has disabled the old mail to encourage users to continue with the newest version. You are allowed a switchback temporarily if you have a slow connection.

Don't worry though, yahoo has promised to make the new mail infinitely better.

I don't like the new messenger mail at all!!!! Is there any way i can get back my original yahoo mail I had before I made the stupid mistake of upgrading it ?

Straight from the Yahoo help page:

We have removed the "Return to Original Mail" link from the help menu as we're strongly encouraging all users to migrate to the newest version of Yahoo! Mail. We will continue to invest heavily in the latest version of Yahoo! Mail, further improving it and delivering more compelling features to our users.

We know that changing to a new interface can seem daunting, so we've done everything possible to make the transition easy. We have created help pages specifically for users who have recently switched to the newest version of Yahoo! Mail, highlighting differences that you may notice:http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/ymail/migrating/.

I also got tricked into trying out the new Yahoo and I hate it too but I wont rest until I find a way to go back.
