Ahh the Shack has them ,just take them out to get the values off the back usually a 100 ohms or a 1000 ohms,10k or so just solder them back on if you can if not they sell the connectors for it as well just as one of the guys in there and bring with and you can't go wrong.Make sure you put wires back in the right position,it does make a difference. If they are soldered just cut them off leaving just enough of color of wire on there so when you go to put them back on you can have it to look at. Be careful the insulation on those wires will come off so you might want to write it down as well

Chorus emits a pulsating noise

Sounds to me like low-end gear. You honestly get what you pay for. If it happens to be high-end then you have either bad cables or just a bad effects processor. If you have on-board effects built into the amp, then get better equipment.

Hope this helps.

All three of my tone knobs are snapped off at the pots on my Hartke GT100 head. I wanted to know how I could find the right replacement pots, and how to install them myself.

Finding a parts list would probably require going to the manufacturer. The pots probably have a number on the side. The number is often the model number and the resistance value (encoded) and a letter signifying the "taper". You are probably better to contact Hartke and just order them from them to guarantee getting the right ones.

Chorus on- no problem- noise free. Chorus off- big problem- massive hum. This item is supposedly "new" (stupid me, I bought from Ebay...)

It sounds like the bypass contacts on the pedal are not working... this may be right in the pedal switch itself. With unit in off position, use an ohmmeter to check continuity between in and out cable tips.

Uc 200 stopped workinh. sound cannot get through and will not turn on.

Probably burnt the inner console. Might just have to buy a new on. It will be better choice. Invest $30 and buy a brand new one. Be careful with it as well. Dropping it or whatever...etc.

MY MXR STEREO CHORUS LED LIGHT START TO FADE AFTER CONNECT WITH DC BRICK! DOES THIS MEAN MY PEDAL WILL HAVING ANY DEFECT?

I don't know what you mean by "DC Brick"...

The MXR Stereo Chorus unit requires a special 18 Volt power adapter. The common 9 volt pedal power adapters will NOT work with this device. If you have batteries in the unit, when you plug in an incorrect adapter, the unit disconnects from the batteries and the caps discharge so the light will fade.

You will need to use: ECB-004 18-volt AC Adapter Best to use the manufacture's exact device for this one.

Broken knob (phazer) need a pott for it ...Help !!

Check their site here under Support:http://line6.com/community/message/59307 if you do not feel comfortable servicing it yourself. They will be able to tell you where the nearest service center is and if you can't get it to one then the specs for the pot. Any good electronics supplier should be able to sell or order you the exact replacement you need. The trick is providing them with the technical info they need. If you or a friend or a nearby reputable electronics service perso can disassemble the amp and unsolder the broken pot from the circuit board it is quite easy to take it to a supplier and have them match it.

Vibrato will not go slower than 4 on the speed knob,70's bandmast

The schematic for the Bandmaster does NOT show anything regarding "vibrato"... they DO have "chorus".

Chorus normally involves higher rate vibrato and it is possible they don't have the control scaled very user friendly and not all of the rotation of the control is effective.

Finding the exact schematic is important to analyzing the problem. and while I can find a "Fender Bandmaster" schematic I have a feeling it is not the right one. You might post an exact model number.

Problem with volume dials in an electric guitar.

If you can't clean the pots or if you just want to try replacing them, try using
500k pots again, in case one or both of the pots is worn or dirty or
defective. If that doesn't work, and cleaning or replacing the
switches doesn't work, then the problem is probably elsewhere.
You could put a 500k resistor (with a sufficiently-high power rating of at least half the power rating (Watts) of the pot) in parallel with the pot, or, to cover all bases, put a 500k resistor from each of the two outer lugs of the pot to the middle lug. That should change it into the equivalent of a 250k pot. You could even just temporarily clip the resistors on, with alligator-clip leads, if you're very careful, just to test it.

Good luck,

The dude.
