If you cannot find a receipt, the proof that you purchased the microwave within the last year will be identified by the appliance SERIAL number. Any repairman can look this information up. The first two letters in the serial number identify the MONTH and YEAR the appliance was manufactured. If you post back with your serial number, I can tell you when that was.

My GE Microwave JES1344SK is showing the code -F3- on the digital screen and it beep three times every 30 second, the microwave won't start and any of the fuctions is working I need some help on t

An F3 code means that the touch pad has a short. The touch pad needs to be replaced. If you purchased the microwave new, get your receipt and the unit serial number and contact GE for the repair (1-800-GE-CARES). See http://repair.geappliances.com/ to find a repair center near you. There is a one-year parts and labor warranty on this part. You will need to get the unit to the GE Repair center at your own expense. (I'm assuming that the unit wasn't shorted by a lightning strike or other disaster.)

I hope this helps.

I purchased Kenmore pots&pans in Feb 2010. I have no receipt, but the pans are all peeling inside teflon. Is there a warranty for this product. I spoke to mgr. at store, she offered no help. I am very...

Teflon is not nice to eat!
Without a receipt of course the store will give you the runaround. Did you pay by Credit Card? If you did, there will be a record with your CCard company and therefore proof of purchase.
Contact the manufacturers, they may help.

GE microwave model # JES1855PBH 04 .This was purchased less than a year ago. It just stopped working. Will not do anything, does not even light up controll panel.

First, check your circuit breaker to see if the circuit may have flipped off. If it isn't off...

Lucky for you that this item has a one year warranty. Look at the second to last page of the instruction manual and follow those directions. If you bought it using a credit card, have the receipt and the original manufacturer's warranty is out, call the credit card company and ask them if you can make an extended warranty claim. They will usually double the manufacturer's warranty.

New cooker not closed properly.Stream will leaking outside. I want to repair or exchange the cooker.I need details about that process.

If you purchased the product near to you and can take it back to the store, take your receipt as proof of purchase and get it replaced. If you bought it online, the rules are slightly different but basically inform the seller that the item is faulty and you want a replacement.

My GE Microwave Oven has stopped working. I purchased the oven last year sometime after June and before Oct. I have looked everywhere and cannot find the receipt of purchase. Do you have any paperwork...

Did you contact that Home Depot? They may provide a copy.

Did you pay with a credit card? Your credit card company may provide a copy or may even cover it with an extra warranty.

Most manufacturers will allow you to sign an affidavit affirming that you purchased it on the date you say, then they will grant you warranty coverage based on that.

Some manufacturers may use the serial number or date code to prove warranty status. I know for a fact that GE will.

GE Customer Service is here.

Your State may have laws that give you rights like this. If all else fails, you could contact the Alabama Attorney General's office.

Good luck.
