SOURCE: Blade will not release

Our blade just came apart at the seam just above the blade, so we know what's inside. There is a small v-shaped piece of spring wire that is spread apart from the stem that is mounted to the machine. When the button is depressed (it's on a tiny spring, like a mattress spring, and that's what makes it bouncy), it spreads the v-spring wire and releases it. If you can get the seam apart, it will release the v wire and not damage the machine. Replacement blades are available on-line for $13.95, and whole machines are available on e-bay. Good luck.

SOURCE: Need replacement part - S Blade/Chopper Blade

You can call Hamilton Beach Customer Service at 1-800-851-8900 from 8am to 6pm ET to order the S Blade. I called to get a price for my S Blade that broke on my 702R model food processor. They quoted me $15.99 plus tax. Now I am looking on the Internet for a cheaper price. Hope this helps.

I need replacement chopping blade. Help please

You should be able to do a search for your particular manufacturer and model food processor using one of the search engines. For example if you are looking for a Cuisinart model CH-4-DC chopper blade enter the search terms Cuisinart Model CH-4-DC chopper blade replacement in your search engine. Amazon is usually a pretty good place to start.

How to attach grating/shredding blades to GE Food Centre FP22

When you remove the regular chopper blade, it should fit on top of the stem. The chopper blade must be removed to use the slicer / shredder attachments.

Press and hold down the center shaft of the blade assembly and lift the blades straight up. You can go here: http://www.ultimatechopper.com/chopper_ul_manual_eng.pdf for a downloadable pdf copy of the user's manual.

On the KitchenAid 3 cup Chef's Chopper, How do you lock the blade so I can turn on the chopper?

The Kitchenaid food choppers have a few safety features implimented. If the unit is not assembled properly, this may prevent the unit from turning on. Proper assembly is below:

If it isn't all ready, please disassemble the entire unit. This means removing work bowl, work bowl lid, and blade.

Start by placing the work bowl onto the motor base. The work bowl handle should be facing at 9 o'clock, which is out to your left. Rotate the handle downward until it locks in at the 6 o'clock position, which will lock over the center of the button panel.

Repeat the process with the work bowl lid. The blade does not need to be present for the motor to engage, if this is an assembly issue.
