How do i turn off zoom function of synaptics touch pad Hp laptop

Are you talking about the two finger zoom by spreading your fingers apart on the touchpad to zoom out or pinching them together to zoom back in?
This works for Dell touch pads so below where it says ‘Dell touchpad’ it probably says HP touchpad?

· Goto your control panel
· Click on ‘Mouse’
· Click on the ‘Dell touchpad’ tab
· On the resultant popup screen, double click on the main touch pad region
· Click on the ‘gestures’ setting
· Uncheck the zoom
Good luck…Chris

How do I set touchpad settings to inop touchpad when USB wireless mouse is plugged in

Some laptops have a Fn Key sequence to disable the touch pad. Look for the touch pad icon on your function keys (hand touching finger on a square). You can also go to the toucpad app by double clicking on the touch pad icon in the system tray and got to device properties to disable tapping - assuming issue is TPad interfering with typing

Dell latitude c610 touch pad left button problem

Will your laptop work properly with an external mouse? If so, check your touchpad settings in "Control Panel" by selecting "Mouse". Here you can reassign your Buttons. Try setting your Right Button function to "Double Click". If the "Double Click" function works on your Right Button then chances are you have a problem with your Touchpad Assembly which means it will have to be replaced. Dell refers to it as a "Palmrest" which they will replace if still under warranty.

UNABLE TO DOUBLE CLICK USING THE TOUCH PAD

you can solved this problem by following these: 1. Find the icon of your pointing device in the taskbar (mine is synaptics pointing device) 2. point to the icon and right-click on it. 3. check if "Tap To Click" option is checked. 4. if not, then click on "tap to click" option so that it will be checked. 5. try now to double click using the touch pad...and you will be okey now.
