If you are having problems with your sound
if your computer came with a motherboard disc the sound drivers could be on it
click start control panel administrive tools computer management device manager scroll to sound, video and game controllers you might see a yellow question mark? Right click to reinstall drivers
click start control panel sounds and audio, volume, advanced, speakers make sure you have selected the
(((appropriate speakers))) also audio you will find 3 drop down lists make sure you have the correct settings there
also
click start control panel sounds and audio devices you can adjust the volume there also select speaker volume you can change your settings there you can also tick in the box place icon in taskbar
if his does not fix the problem

have you tried this control panel sounds and audio, volume, advanced, speakers select the appropriate speakers from the drop down list or navigate to the device manager scroll to system devices + to expand, system speaker right click properties then select use this device (enable) also you might check
the speakers plug/outlet is usually at the back of the computer you will have to open up the computer to check the lead attached to the rear of the input plug make sure the connection is good
try cleaning your computer of dust using a fine air blower from a compressor making VERY sure that there is no MOISTURE in the air line specifically around the sound card and the CPU central processing unit dust causes static to build up in a computer
hope this helps

My speakers don't want to turn on

Hi ,
Sometimes , new speakers just don't work from the beginning and you need to bring them back to the retail shop under waranty .
Before doing that , check your soundcard by connecting it's output to another sound set , like your hifi or another speakers set . If this doesn't work , you could be just facing a driver issue that can easily be solved by downloading and installing the correct driver from the manufacturer's site .

SPEAKERS NOT WORKING

Try these guys at: http://www.generalsystemsconsulting.com They can provide phone support for $25.00 that you will pay through PayPal. You only pay if the problem is solved. Speakers don't work for one of the following reasons: 1) You don't have it plugged into the Light Green colored port in the computer, 2) You have the volume muted, 3) The Audio Driver is corrupt or missing, 4) The Codec is missing

Even though the speakers are plugged in,turned on, and at full volume, there is no sound. The speaker itself still works because when I plugged in my ipod, sound still played. The speakers only don't...

First we need to check if we rightfully plug the speaker in it,s rightful socket at the back of your computer. There are three sockets one is for the mic the other one is for the speaker and lastly the input socket. the green socket is it's rightful place. So now we can proceed, make sure that you have a proper sound driver for your computer. If it is still not installed, we really cannot hear anything from the speaker that we just plug in. Try to re-install your motherboard drivers, especially the sound driver for *********** board. If you don't have an installation disk, then try to buy or acquire a driver magician installation disk it is available at any software stores. After you installed driver magician, it will automatically detect any missing drivers that your motherboard needs. Try downloading each one by pressing download and driver magician will automatically search the web and download it for you. All you got to do is install them. I respectfully hope that this would solve your problems. Have a nice day friend.

The speakers were working the I believe I accidentally deleted the speaker software they don't even so as a device on the computer and aren't working??

The speaker you have mentioned is no need a software to use in a computer try to check if you are connected properly in your computer. See to it that you plug in the power adopter of your speaker and the input of the speaker is connected to the output of the audio of your computer.

I have a set of logitech X-530 speaker for my computer with windows home 7, i have had the front left and front right speaker working properly, however now i cannot get any sound from any of the...

Try to disconnect the input connector of your speaker and touch the input jack of the unit if you hear a hazing sound it means your speakers are working properly but if you don't hear any sound your speakers are bad. Open the speaker unit and check the amplifier section of your unit. If you don't see any burned electronic component inside. Check the wiring of your unit.
To check if the audio of your computer is working. Plug in the input a headset if you hear a sound while you playing a music in your computer it means the audio of your computer is working good.

Logitech soundman G1 cases don't function..Do I need a driver ?

Driver might need to be reinstalled but to confirm this you should attach any other set of speakers of Headphones. However the driver or improper installization of windows xp usually causes this on getting updated. I'm not sure that what windows you are using therefore you can probably just check if the cables are pind in right sockets and that the Speackers are getting power. As far drivers are concerned the Speakers do not have any drivers but the sound card does, therefore if you have not installed the drivers of sound card you may install them now. This may solve the problem hope fully

Drivers side speaker don`t work no sound it did at 1 time!! what could be the problem and how to solve

Check the continuity of the speakers using a tester.. set it to 10K Ohms. If the tester moves then you have a good speaker but if it doesn't move, then you have to replace your speaker.

You might want to check the speaker volume balance first... ^_^

I HAVE A DELL OPTIPLEX 170L WITH BA735 SPEAKERS BUT i HAVE NO SOUND

Make sure you have a sound card installed
    • you think you have a sound card installed but you don’t see it under the Sound, video and game controllers category, expand the Other devices category and check any devices listed there.
  1. If there is a yellow question mark next to the name of the sound card, there might be a problem. Right-click the name of the sound card, and then click Properties.
  2. Make sure your speakers are plugged into a working power source and turned on.
  • Make sure your speakers are correctly connected to the computer.
On your speakers, find the cable that plugs into your computer. Make sure that the speaker cable is plugged into the speakers and the correct jack on the computer. For example, if the cable is a 1/8 inch cable, there should be a round jack for it on the back of the computer. If it is a universal serial bus (USB) cable, it will plug into any USB port on your computer.
  • Make sure your headphones are not plugged into the line out (headphone) jack of your sound card or computer (unless you want to be listening with headphones rather than speakers). When you plug in headphones, most computers automatically cut the sound to the speakers.
If these steps don’t solve the problem, check the information that came with your computer and speakers or go to the manufacturer's website.
