SOURCE: I have a Swingline High
At the rear of the stapler is latched retainer(looks triangular when viewed from the side). Push it forward (toward th other end of the stapler) and lift up and back. This will release the "tray" that holds the staples.

When you lift up the top of the stapler (as though you are going to put staples in), does the pusher slide freely back and forth? It might be getting stuck at some point and not pushing the staples (either due to a worn pusher spring, or friction). First (after removing the staples) try spraying some light oil on the mechanism and lifting the top part of the stapler up and down a few times and observe how easily it moves back and forth. Also, with the top open try GENTLY sliding back and forth a little - if it slides fine with no sticking, try loading staples and using stapler. If it slides ok, but doesn't quickly return to it's "normal position" when pulled so as to put tension on the spring, rhen the spring may be worn and need replacing.

Go to the Bostitch / Stanley website http//www.cpobostitch.com/ Browse for the product as if you are shopping ot buy it. Under the Specifications tab you can download a Schematic and/or Owners Manual in .pdf format. Quick Link to Bostitch MIIIFS owners manual: http://www.cpobostitch.com/static/manual/miiifs.pdf

Go to the Stanley Bostitch website. Click on schematics & parts. Find your model number in the drop down list. There is a list of parts and pricing. Just above the parts is a link for the schematic. Honestly, I worked on these things for years. It is best to replace the entire trigger valve. It comes as a kit with instructions grease, and a little tool to hammer your pins out. Lemme know if this helps. Please rate me

I have the same problem and have found no answers from Stanley Bostitch customer service. They redirect to a telephone number that does not answer.
Solution: Don't buy Stanley Bostitch.
