Honda cg160 tiller the engine was running rough With choke all the way in, fine at halfway. then stopped moving forward, moves but no strength to till. What's wrong??

while your choke is out your engine is getting too much petrol . if it wont run well with choke in then its not getting enough. there is a small screw on the side of the carb ( air mixture ) they are usualy ( from screwed right in ) 1 and a half turns out, try with 1 and a half turns out start engine and adust either way so it idles nice ( try and warm engine up first ) also if you can't get it to idle you might have to strip card off and clean it ...hope this helps

Craftsman rear tine tiller

If you cant move the tines by hand then I wouldn't think you sheared the pins, more like a gear box problem.

Starter rope hard to pull on mantis tiller

Sounds like your engine may be seized up. Mine did the same thing and I had to replace the block. If any dirt gets past the air cleaner or if your fuel mixture isn't right it won't take long to lock it up. If you need info on where to find parts, let me know. Good luck.

Hi I have briggs and stratton quantum xm 50 engine on a garden tiller and the engine starts fine, but after a minute or two stops and turns of by itself, than again starts without problem but again after...

There is dirt blocking the fuel supply to the engine. You need to strip and clean the carb, preferably fitting a new carb kit at the same time. Clean out all the passages and orifices by blowing them out, but be careful of loosing small parts like filter screens and screws.

Adjusting mtd carb. i there a set turns for the adjustment screws

Basic screw adjustments to start with are 3/4 of a turn from the farthest "in" setting. Don't tighten down on the screws too hard, turn down just enough intil they stop, then turn out from there. After engine starts, you can fine tune the idle speed and then the high speed crews.

Tines stop under load

you have to get someone with a big tractor to "break" the ground up first. A tiller is just that...Not a plow

OOOPS...this sounds bad, like a locked up motor. If it is a 2 cycle engine it is especially bad...and it probably is toast. Take it to a shop and have someone check it out, but doesn't sound good..Sorry
