I had this same problem. You can' t take the pic directly above it you have to angle your shot. Eventually I figured out that it was easier to shut off the flash and just use a secondary lighting source like a couple lamps.

What does center erase mean on Konica Minolta Bizhb C351 mean?

Hi Meggleton313,
If you needed to photocopy a couple of pages (side by side) from say a magazine or book. You would lay the magazine on the glass, opened on the 2 pages you want. You could use center erase to remove the area where the spine of the magazine would be. Thus avoiding the dark and blurred image traditionally associated with copying this kind of media.
Kind regards

PICTURE HAS A FILM TYPE GLARE TO IT... CAN NOT ADJUST THROUGH PICTURE CONTROLES

Projection TV sets are known to have two common problems. The first problem that is common to these sets is convergence failure. When this happens the TV will usually look 3D, Wavy/Distorted, etc. It may also shutdown and blink an error code.

The second common problem with Projection TV sets is dull video, halos around objects, white looking video, or red overpowers the screen. This is commonly caused by the fluid in the lens being clouded over.

I can't remove the left magazine from a Superloader 3. The unit has failed and I need to remove the tapes. The eject magazine does not work, it doesn't pull the drive gear back.

I found this solution on line and it worked for me. Believe it or not I used a butter knife and stuck it between the magazine and mail slot close to the bottom. You will hear a click and the magazine will pop out. It is like using a paperclip for a stuck CD. Make sure you power the device down and unplug it.

How to fix real bad glare on new toshiba led/lcd tv 46sv670u

I would not recommend to remove it, if you are removing what I think you are removing then this will void your warranty.

but if it is just plain plastic like on this picture

Then you are supposed to remove it.

if the so called "protector" is not like on the above picture, then you are not supposed to remove it.

turn flash off, or turn to still picture no flash. I believe it looks like a flower on the adjustment knob. On Kodak camera's anyways. Just turn off the flash or cover it

When it is sunny day try to take pictires with fuji camera z100fd my face reflects on screentherefore i cant take picture i have a hood and antiglare film ao screen but makes no difference

Hi and welcome to FixYa,

To my understanding of your posted problem, it would appear that there is really nothing that could be done. It appears to be a design issue but not necessarily a limitation. You have not posted that pictures taken are affected by the reflection, hence it is more of a user friendliness question. If possible, use it like a conventional camera rather than sighting through the the LCD screen. A possible solution is to increase the backlight but that would require extensive modifications which would not make it economically reasonable nor technically easy.

If you would factor in the modification cost, downtime and the efforts to effect the desired results, you may want to re-evaluate your options and consider seeking a suitable replacement camera.

Good luck and thank you for using FixYa.

How to open the case?

Hi- I had to also remove the CD cartridge. A Pain! You can easily remove the case cover. You need to carefully remove the LED lens from the front by using a small putty knife to depress the expansion pins on the right and left sides and pry the lens cover up. Then, use the putty knife to lightly pry up the aluminum top cover. There are 4 nylon pins affixed to the aluminum cover by double stick tape. They are approximately 1.5" from the corners. Lightly pry up each corner to remove the top cover and you are in. There are no screws. Don't gorrilla the thing or you will bend the aluminum. Cheers!

How do I remove the outer protective screen on my Mitsubishi WS-55315?

There are trim pieces around the edges that can be removed by sliding a knife underneath and lightly prying. They should remove fairly easily, don't force them as they may break. Use the knife on the cabinet side and pry toward the center of the screen.

The tear on the inner screen may be best left as is.

lexan would be better than plexi as it is tougher, but try to get anti-glare if possible. Anti-glare plexi would be better than regular lexan.

I receive error msg and cant eject magazine

The magazine in our Sony CD player would not eject. I tried pressing two buttons at the same time etc., with no result. I uplugged the player, removed the screws that hold the black metal cover on and took off the cover (pull the metal up, out and away at the back bottom sides, then slide it back to release the lip from under the front pane.) Looked down inside and saw the problem, a CD disc extended about 1/2 inch from the magazine, blocking ejection. I pushed the extended edge of the disc back into the magazine with the tip of a kitchen knife. Plugged the player back in, pushed power and then the eject button, and the magazine ejected. Replaced the metal cover and it works fine. If it won't eject again I know what to do. Be sure to unplug before you work, you don't need an electrical shock.
All the best, Sonia Murray
