I think you need to replace the motor, there is probably something stripped inside it. There is a panel under the microwave, held on by one or more screws. Remove it and you will see the synchronous motor inside. There should be a plug to disconnect the wires. Remove the motor and fit a new one. Ensure that the microwave is disconnected from the wall outlet before attempting any work on it.

How can I keep the turntable from revolving when using a dish that is too large to turn?

Try removing the M/W turntable and placing a shallow bowl upside down centered over the rotating device. Then place your plate on top of the bottom of the bowl. The device will still rotate but will not be in contact with anything.

Where can I get a glass turntable

Are you talking about just a new glass plate for your specific oven or a generic turntable mechanism? If just a glass plate, you have provided no brand or model info. Just examine how your old plate engaged - they aren't all the same but some will interchange. There are also inexpensive turntable devices that can be used to retrofit ovens without a rotating mechanism.

The glass plate inside will not rotate

Replacing the turntable motor.

The motor assembly is fixed to the base of the oven usually with two screws and access i obtained by removing the inspection plate directly beneath the motor. It is usally a plug in synchronus motor that revolves at a few revs per minute but the plastic cogs in the motors gear box fail and the motor assembly must be replaced. They are fairly inexpensive and obtainable usually from a domestic appliance repair shop.
If you feel confident, disconnect it from the mains power, remove anything in the cavity and turn it upside down if it is a tabletop model, a little more complicated if it is built in!
Remove the inspection plate and disconnect the motor. Remove the motor and go and get a new one. Re fit it and put the microwave back in its position. Plug it back in, with the turntable and plate. Put a cup of water on the plate inside of the oven and heat for 20 seconds to check the plate goes round.
Hope this helps.

My microwave oven turntable will not rotate. How should I solve the problem? Also if I just leave it and carry on using it does it matter? Model MICROMAT 21T-W

It is rather important having a turntable that revolves. Just as a matter of interest, place a refridgerated jelly in the microwave and watch as heat is only applied at one point!

The revolving glass plate on Panasonic NN-GD546 no longer revolve

the plate is controlled by a rotating motor.the motor is probably stuck or bad.

Revolving plate no longer rotates . All else works, it continu;es to cook, but we need to move the items of food from time to time

Remove the plate, and check if the square shaped gear that normally spins the turntable is rotating.

If it is rotating, then replace the turntable gear.

If it is not rotating that means that the motor that spins the microwave turntable does not rotate, and must be replaced.
