Question about Breadman TR2200C Ultimate Bread Maker

1 Answer

My breadman has stopped working. The control panel constantly displays "keep warm" and "loaf forming", at the same time. It will not reset or start. There is no "beep" when I hit the control buttons so I don't think it is registering selection. I've tried unplugging it for over a day and also keeping it plugged in for a day to see if either would help reset. No luck. The display stays the same and will not bake. Any ideas? I miss my fresh bread!

Often if you hold down the start button for a few seconds the display will go blank and reset itself.

Many bread machines won't allow you to start them until they have completely cooled off. That is because the makers know that a hot machine will effect the yeast too early if the machine is too hot. Always open the lid on your machine and let it cool for 30 mins. before starting another loaf.

I just purchased a Breadman Professional Bread Maker - Model BK1060BC. This is the second time I have used it and my problem is this: During the first hour of the cycle the machine is very loud and...

You may be making a loaf that has too over loaded with ingredients. Try making a 1 pound or 1.5 pound loaf next time. Even a 2 pound loaf requires no more than 4 cups of flour plus the other ingredients.

I just baked one loaf, and was readying the 2nd loaf, entered settings, hit start and got this: "E:01" What do I do?

That is a temperature warning that is an automatic feature on bread machines. What the machine is telling you is that the oven chamber is still too hot from baking the last loaf. It does that to prevent you from starting another loaf and having that loaf fail due to the high heat killing the yeast. If you want to bake more than one loaf unplug the machine after baking the first one, raise the lid, and leave it open for no less than 20 minutes. It should work fine by then. If not let it cool off another 10 minutes. It will be cool enough by ½ an hour to start another one.

I just ran this through the super rapid cycle as desicribed in the manual when first using the machine. Now I want to make a basic white loaf and the display reads "E01". What does this mean?

That just means that your machine was too hot to make a loaf of bread so soon after completing the rapid program. Bread machines need to cool off about 30 minutes before starting the 2nd loaf. They are designed that way to prevent poor baking results due to overheating of the yeast too early in the process. Please vote/rate/rank/testimonial this answer.......

"- - H" appears in display. What does it mean?

that is a temperature alert to advise the user that the oven chamber is too hot to begin breadbaking. This usually happens when a loaf of bread has been baked and a 2nd one is attempted before the breadmachine has cooled off.

Breadman Breadmaker - the dough sticks to the beater leaving a large hole in bottom of loaf - up to 1/3 of bread loaf. How to stop this?

Hi...Just take the paddle out at the end of the kneading cycle and before the final rise. If your machine does not have a pause feature, take the pan out of the machine to be safe. Hank

Initial use

YOu want to clean out the interior with a damp (NOT WET) cloth then dry it - before running it empty with the breadpan and paddle in place. My manual told me to follow the instructions for the Making Dough and Baking Bread section of the Instruction Manual. (I have TR5200BC) I'm referencing page 23 of my manual and starting from STEP 5. Comments in { } are mine.
5.Insert the Bread Pan into the Bread Chamber - press down and make sure it snaps securely into place. {note - you may find that you have to rotate what looks like the propeller on the bottom of your bread pan until you get used to placing it the chamber}. If the Bread Pan does not snap securely into place, remove Bread Pan. Wearing oven mits {to avoid sharp edges}, place fingers behind Bread Pan clips and gently pull away from oven wall. Insert Bread Pan again.
6. Close the Lid. Plug into 120V-60Hz outlet. The Breadman will beep and the display indicator will light up with flashing zeros.
7. Press the SELECT Button to choose the Cycle you want. Each time the SELECT Button is pressed, it will beep and the Indicator will move to the next Cycle in the Display Window.
8. {Skip step 8 - Crust selection}
9. Press the LOAF Size Butoon to select 1LB
10. {Skip step 10 - Extras nuts/fruits}
11.Press the START Button
12. Press STOP/RESET Button and open the Lid. {If you want to remove the Bread Pan at this time be sure to use oven mits - I did mine the night before I wanted to use it and let it cool over night. Before I used it to bake I rinsed out the Bread Pan with warm water and mild soap}.

This will take about 2 hours then you are ready to bake. Enjoy
