Do you have drivers installed for your printer if you do try going into printer setup and print test page if it will not it should give you a fault number so you can check on web for the fault and fix it

Have you tried powering it up without any periferals?? take out the RAM, HDD, WIFI, CD, etc... I've seen a BAD wireless network card preventing the system to power up... if it seams to power up than put back stuff in one by one starting with the RAM to see what periferal is causing the problem... If not than it could be the CPU...
Hello, heres a few ideas.
Does the computer show no signs of power at all? If so, it might be your motherboard that went bad.
I would also try without the battery in and just plugged in, if it works wihtout the battery then its the batteries fault.
If your computer DOES show signs of life, try plugging it into an external monitor, then power it on. It should show up on the external monitor if its a screen issue.
Another thing to attempt would be to take your ram out. There should be some small "sections" on the back of the laptop. Remove the one that has a small image that looks like a little chip (attempting to look like ram)
Then take one stick out and see if it boots, and if not, attempt to switch the two.
Letme know how that goes, and i'll be willing to help you more.
Hello john !
What kind of connection you are using for you printer ? Usb or network ?
Did you try replacing the driver already. A quick fix would be overwrite the driver and detect the printer automaticly by reinstalling using the installation disc, if you dont have it yo cand download the software from www.hp.com
