Question about PC Desktops

1 Answer

I bought the new SerifX2 a month ago but it will not work. Every time I log on to import some pictures, it just freezes and I cannot get rid of the window. I was told when I bought it that it would be so much better than the previous serif I'd had, but at least that worked. I'd like my money back please. This is useless. Audrey Atkinson (previously)

Try a different program for importing the pics and see if u have the same results, try the windows import function first if it works try reinstalling the program and change the settings, u may have to programs accessing the pictures at the same time causing a crash

Magicjack problems

My magic jack has been working fine until about 3 months ago. Have had it for about 2 years now. It has a very bad connection. All conversations are breaking up very, very bad. Cannot understand a full sentence. Thought it might be the magic jack itself so I bought a new one. Did not help. Then bought a new phone set. Did not help neither. Only thing I can think it could be is the internet connection. Is that possible or is it something else? Need this fixed.

Will my programs work on Windows 7?

When considering an upgrade to Windows 7, something that you will need to be concerned with is not only the drivers for your computer and peripherals, but whether that game you bought 2 years ago, or the anti-virus program you bought 2 months ago will work.

Many times the program will not work no matter what you do. It was just not made for Windows 7.

Microsoft does have a Compatibility Center to help aid in determining whether your current programs will work. You can find the site at Windows 7 Compatibilty Center. Of course this site cannot possibly tell you about every program on the market, but it is a big help.

Also, most software companies have support sites and contact information so you can ask the important questions before you upgrade and realize too late that your software is no longer functional.

Happy Upgrading!

Computer keeps freezing everytime i try and open a programme

try doing a system restore on it. To tell You the truth I can't stand Norton because if You miss one of the updates it just doesn't seem to work. I had Norton a long time ago and got rid of it. All My family and friends that had it got rid of theirs also. Hope that helps You out. You can contact Me at if You have more questions.

Why does my curor freeze up?

First I would replace the batteries. I had the same problem a couple of years ago. The solution for me was getting rid of McAfee AV. To check if it is your problem, use CTL-ALT DEL to turn McAfee off and see if that gets rid of your mouse freeze ups.

Desktop screen freezes up when I 'right click' mouse on any ico

This sounds as if there is a problem with Webshots corrupting a specific dll file in the Windows system. I hate to say this, but that usually means a complete reinstall from scratch. I would recommend trying to backup all of the files and reinstall windows.
