Question about Acer Aspire™ T180 PC Desktop
My house lost power from an electronical storm. Power immediately came back up, but my ACER T180 Aspire now sits on the "Acer" boot up screen for 10 or more minutes with no activity showing on the hard drive light, before finally tapping into the hard drive and booting up. Everything else seems to work fine, but now my boot takes 10 minutes or more now when physically powering it up. I did the the safe mode, chkdsk c:/f, etc. No problems there. Did the brown out kick in a long diagnostic option now?
TRY TO REUPDATE UR BIOS, U COULD HAVE SUSTAIN SOME INTERNAL DAMAGE FORM THE SURGE. WHEN A COMPUTER BOOTS UP IT READS INTERNAL INSTRUCTION PROGRAM IN THE RANDOM OPERATING MEMORY. THIS FIRMWARE COULD HAVE BEEN DAMAGE AS WELL. IF POSSIBLE TRY BOOTIN FROM A DISK TO SEE IF THE BOOT TIME IS THE SAME WHN THE COMPUTER GETS THE INSTRUCTION FROM ANOTHER SOURCE
