Welcome to Fixya

Sound like common problem with this printer. IP40000 6A00 error and green and orange blinking for 12 times. Please follow the procedure below:

Open the top of the printer, move the ink-cartriges to the left. Look in the openening you get. You will see white plate with two transparant guides on this. Do not thouch the transparant guide plate. On the most right white arm push a little downwards with a pencil or a plastic pin. Maybe you have to push on the grove a little more to the back. You will see that the plate will move a very little and this obstruction for moving the cartriges and rollers is gone. Restart the printer then try to print.

Thank you for using Fixya!

Hi

I believe that problem is faulty print head or there is problem on carriage lift mechanism.

To resolve this, when turn on, remove the power cord of the printer. Now use your have to move the print head to the center or move to the other side. Then pull out the ink cartridge. Clean the print head by rubbing the print head into a plain paper with alcohol until ink flows.

Then, close the cartridge door and turn on the printer without the ink cartrdige and if it runs the diagnotics without the print head. The problem is the faulty ink cartridge. Replace new one.

If not, the carriage lift mechanism is the problem. Regards

Also, after cleaning the ink cartridge, return the ink cartridge and check if error message disappear. Regards

You reset the ink absorber like that:

1.printer is offline
2.push resume button is red and in the same time push power button
3.do no let resume button, and push the resume button 2 times
4.wait to appears green
5.them push four times to resume button
6.close the printer and start up

If the problem persist i think you have a problem with the sheet feed unit, try to replace.

1986 TRX 250 R has no compression, probably not rings or gaskets cuz there'd be some compression still !! Any ideas ??

A cylinder efficiency test would be the quick answer. Set the engine to top dead centre on the compression stroke if it is a 4-stroke or any top dead centre if it is two stroke. Lock the crankshaft or engage high gear and apply the brakes to prevent the engine rotating during the test (locking the crank is better). Jam the throttle open and remove the air filter.
Remove the spark plug and fit a commercially available adapter or a modified spark plug which allows compressed air to be fed into the cylinder without leaking.

Once the cylinder is fed with compressed air, leaks through the induction indicates a faulty inlet valve or seat, air escaping through the exhaust indicates similar problems with the exhaust valve or seat and more than the usual dribble of air escaping through the piston ring gaps indicates problems with the piston, rings or cylinder bore.

This type of test is quick and reliable and far superior to wet-and-dry compression testing but the diagnosis is slightly different for a 2-stroke as there are no valves but the process is quite intuitive and a valuable aid to fault finding but stick to low pressure on these engines..

Orange light on SIDE (not top) of HP LaserJet P2015 Series printer won't go out. Have disconnected all leads and re-booted printer and computers (2) to no avail. There are no paper jams and have

Is there any text to indicate what this light refers to?

In general, you might want to remove paper trays, and use a compressed air can to spray inside the printer, especially the paper path. Oftentimes, paper dust will impede a photo-optic sensor, and keep an indicator light lit when there i no real reason for it. It can also give you a paper jam indication when there is none.

So blow out all paper dust to get the printer to work correctly now.

Cheers!

Printer error shows paper jam at paper tray and printer stops after printing 3 or 4 pages. I open and close the top access and printing resumes for 3 or 4 more pages...stops and shows paper jam at feed...

Try two things:

Fan the paper before placing in the tray.

Raise the humidity in the room to at least 40% to avoid electrostatic sticking of the paper. Store paper in 40% humidity area.

My Brother MFC-685CW has paper, no jam, but the rollers won't pick up the paper when i want it to photocopy. Why won't it pick up the paper - it keeps saying "no paper fed"

Toner complaint may also cause paper jams. It can be solved only by replacing it. When you switch on the loop back plug in, two flash lights appear; then it indicates paper jam. The oil spillage in toner can cause this problem. If the toner cartridge is not functioning properly, the same problem would be the result. The diodes or transistors in the fuser unit of the Multi Function Printer may get damaged and this can lead to fuser complaints. To solve this problem, you should replace it.

JUST BOUGHT A OKIDATA 321 TURBO 9 PIN PRINTER OFF EBAY. WE HAD ONE BEFORE & IT QUIT WORKING SO WE ASSUMED WE COULD JUST PLUG THIS ONE IN & IT WOULD START WORKING BUT THE ALARM BUTTON KEEPS COMING...

If the alarm light is lit constantly it usually indicates that the paper is not loaded, it should go out when paper is loaded. If it is coming on and staying on for a while during printing then there is a problem with the paper out sensor and it may need cleaning. If it is flashing then the other lights that are lit indicate the problem.

Can you tell me if all of the four numbers should be lit up to reflect the Netgear WGR614 is working? My internet connection suddenly quit and I just noticed that on the number "1" is lit.

On a router, the numbers light up only if there is an active computer plugged in to that port. One computer plugged into port 1 the number 1 wil light, and same with 2, 3, 4. No device plugged in to port = no light. Different color lights with different data rates.

Won't photocopy / warning light flashing /

The paper feed system is worn (rollers, and separation pad). What is happening, is extra sheets are being fed into the machine primarily because the separation unit is not doing it's job properly. So rather than just one page at a time being fed, it is allowing an extra sheet to "creep" in intermittently, causing the jam. And the indicator you are seeing is the "jam" indicator.

How to change paper tray on pixma ip4000 canon?

There is a button I believe just above the USB port on the front of the machine. The picture is of a printer and there are two areas that will lit up. If the light is on the bar that is in the vertical direction, this indicates you are using the top feeder. If the bar is lit that is horizontal you are using the paper tray feeder. The Default is normally on the top feeder. Most people do not even realize there is a paper tray on these machines. They are hidden well.
To change tray settings simply push the gray button found under the picture of the printer with the vertical and hrizontal bars usually lit in green!
