Question about Fuji FinePix F700 Digital Camera

1 Answer

When I take a picture with the camera, (FinePix F700), my window display shows a white haze with horizontal lines across the picture screen. I 've replaced the battery but the problem is still occurring. Can I send the camera in for repairs and if so what address to send to?

Hi.

Take pictures, then try downloading the pictures onto a computer. If the haze and lines appear in the picture, the faulty part is the CCD image sensor located inside the camera behind the lens. If the lines do not appear the problem is the LCD display unit or the cable to LCD.
Diagnosing the problem will help you to get a more accurate quote on repair.

About the repair, first contact Fuji using the numbers below, verify warranty status and get a quote on repair.

Contact USA: Fujifilm: Support

UK: Contact Fujifilm UK

AU: Fuji Australia - Contact

Asia: Asia - Fujifilm

Rest of the World: Support ' Fujifilm Global

You can also get a quote on repair from a third party service here:Repair

Horizontal White Lines in Pictures

I don't think [and the museum will certainly say] This has anything to do with the X-ray/storage whilst in the museums hands. It could be a processing error or a memory card error. Try formatting the card in the camera and taking a new batch of images Try another card. This will estasblish card or camera. If card - buy another card If camera -checxk on the price of a repair but I suspect it will mean when you see the price Buy another camera

I recently had trouble with the LCD Display coming up with a black screen. So I mailed it to Fuji with a letter explaining the problem. About 3 weeks later I got it back in the mail and it seem to be working fine until a month later. I turned it on and the LCD display show a black screen only now it has white lines. I'm so incredible mad and extremely dissapointed in Fuji. Reading online I have notice many people having trouble with Fuji Products. I WILL NEVER BUY a Fuji again!!!
