Greetings...
My remote does not charge.
I have tried the following:
- Buying new cable (did not help)
- Buying new remote (cannot even charge it initially)
Is the problem my ports?
Re: Greetings...
My remote does not charge.
I have...
It could be your ports or more likely your battery in the controller try a freinds controller and see if that charges ok if so i would guess its a fault with your battery.

Hi John, try disconnecting the LG sound bar and check if the fault continues
If you do not follow the fault, the problem would be in the LG bar
If the fault continues, try taking the remote control of the TV from the place where the TV is, in case the remote control could produce the fault
If you do not follow the fault, the problem would be in the remote control
You can try doing a Firmware update
If you still continue, the problem would be on the TV's Main board, look for a specialized technical service

If there is setup codes for your TV brand with the code list of the remote control you bought, it should synchronized with the TV. If there is no code, you can try a code search method. Even if it do not help you, you must have to buy an other one. Code SearchIf after trying "Direct Code Entry" your device does not respond, or if your
brand is not listed, try doing a search of the code library for your code by
following these steps.
Manually turn on the device (TV, VCR, etc.) to be controlled.
Press and hold the SETUP button until the red indicator stays on, then
release the SETUP button.
Press and release the desired Mode button (TV, VCR, etc.). The red indicator
blinks once, then stays on.
Press the CHANNEL UP button repeatedly (up to 300 times) until the device to
be controlled changes channel. The red indicator blinks, then stays lit.
Press and release MUTE to install the code. The indicator light goes off.
Most users will want to store VCR codes under the VCR button, Cable codes
under CBL, etc. If you want to store a VCR code under CBL, etc., first follow
the procedure for Direct Code Entry and press CBL in step 2 of Direct Code
Entry, then enter ANY VCR code in step 3 of Direct Code Entry. Then follow the
steps above for Code Search

Try buying a new remote.or press the sync button on the wii console for 15-20 seconds then resync all controllers in the wii one by one.hope this helps Julie Dentith. :)
It's not possible to charge your phone without a charger or a usb cable, if you got at least the usb cable even if you don't have the charger, you can charge it, otherwise you have choice instead of buying them.

Greetings ! Hopefully you followed the instructions on page 18 - 20 of the Yamaha manual... then set the Flat screen or monitor to one of the two inputs that you view movies or dvd's on . I would try it first without HDMI cables as even the book states some monitors do not accept or see hdmi. try it with the dvd cables.
You have to follow the book carefully as I have the same system . Its a complicated system and I was informed , "a lot of people do not know how to set the system up and end up returning a perfect system..." from the Geek squad from Best Buy. Just follow carefully the manual.
It could be a multitude of problems, however the first thing I'd do is check that battery.
A lot of times, batteries just get wore out and even while being charged; they aren't able to help keep the system stable enough. Even with the alternator pushing out the right amperage, it may actually be causing more problems as it's not holding enough of a charge. Usually when the battery is fully charged the alternator will only power the vehicle itself while not charging the battery.
I'd try the battery first, then look into the wiring off the alternator. Also check for bad terminals, wire connections, or even corrosion on a ground contact.
It has happened to me as well since i have the exact same model laptop. The problem is a loose cable or the wire inside is damaged. I just bought a new charger since buying one is cheaper than taking the risks that the repair might cause a short after using it for some time.
