Question about Kodak ESP 3 Multifunction Printer/ Copier/ Scanner

I've just bought a new kodak printer ESP3250 last week, and installed everything and got it set up fine. It was printing fine after I installed it but suddenly stopped after I had printed a few sheets. The screen displays-Printer error. remove rear access cover.clear all paper. attach cover. press ok to contine. Error code-3528. I've tried opening and closing the access cover and taking the ink cartiridges in and out but nothing seems to be working. There is definintely nothing stuck in the printer either!Please Help!

Sounds like there is a sheet of paper jammed in it. Try taking off the roller access panel in the back (not the access panel by the cartridges). Make sure to only use clean sheets with proper humidity level to avoid jams. Also fan the sheets before feeding to disperse any static.

I spent lots of time last night trying to get my printer to work - it did a couple times and now it won't print out again - trying to print from the computer to the printer.


IF THE PRINTER has any ALARM LIGHT. check for paper jam or BAD paper pick up roller not grabing the paper (clean or replace it).
If the printer doesn't blink ALARM. check if you have failed jobs in QUE; IF YES DELETE IT AND TRY TO PRINT AGAIN OR TRY UNINSTALL AND REINSTALL THE PRINTER DRIVER.

the kodak system uses a countdown system that assumes you use a certain amount of ink re sheet regegardless of how much ink you accutualy use, the counter system starts everyt ime you turn the printer on, so the only way to extend the life of the ink is not to turn the printer off netween use, which the domestic useres do not of course do what i did throw the printer away and get a new one not Kodak sh*t

Call a Kodak shop and ask what causes that problem and how to eliminate it. It's probably a setting you need to change.

I have a Kodak easyshare all in one printer 5100


You need to clean the printhead of the printer to solve that

issue. Because everytime you print, excessive inks are going

to the printhead that's the reason why it's clogging the

system up. That's because Kodak printers is using

"pigments" as inks that's why Kodak printers are producing

high quality prints unlike other printers - a photo printed from

kodak could actually last for about 100 years. Now back to

your issue, you need to clean the printhead from the printer

but not manually. You could clean it by going to the

software of the printer namely the KODAK HOME

CENTER SOFTWARE. You need to click the "?" mark

icon on the upper right corner of the software window then

under the General Links select Maintenance then choose

Clean Printhead. Do it at least twice and then try making

prints. If that still doesn't work try calling Kodak Technical

Support Representative: 1-800-421-6699
