Hi,
a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US.
click here to Talk to a Technician (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

SOURCE: psp not saving or loading

Hi Spazza2,

Did yout try using the same UMD game your brother was using and see if the game format has anything to do with it?  Since you upgraded, the UMD game may be old, and might not work with Version 3.71. It sounds like your PSP is working just  fine other than that.

SOURCE: psp internet downloading

I just fixed mine, it works fine now. Steps:

1) copy all the data from the psp to the PC
2) reset the psp
3) format the memory stick
4) now copy the data in to the correct folders

Those are the exactly came steps that I did and mine works fine now.

Is it mandatory to have a memory in the psp for the mcqueen orama race game

If your auto save is ON it is mandatory to save your game progress. you can turn off auto save if you don't want it that way. However, you will still need the memory card to save your progress manually.

Phlinx wont save my progress

Phlinx is a great game, but the game has no ability to save. You need to always statrt from the beginning. That is its biggest downfall.

Whats happened is you have started from a new game while an existing save was there. There is no way to save your current progress, however the origional save will still be there. You can either turn it off and start again from the previous save (by selecting the top option at the first menu) or if you want to start right from the begining and be able to save you will need to delete the old save file. I believe the reason for this was that so many kids losts their game that may have taken month (or years) of playing by a friend or sibbling trying to play the game from the start and then save - which would delete the other game save.

Memory stick duo

Hi,
Well your memory stick can be used for many things, however its main feature is to save data, you can save the progress of any game. You can also save your fotos, videos, music, themes for your psp, and wallpaper.
To save files from your computer simpli connect your psp via usb and under settings select usb connection... your computer should detect your psp automatically and you will be able to save your files on the corresponding folder
