Bosch silence plus 50 dba is showing error code h01

I believe this is a filling or water flow error. Make sure all the plumbing stuff is OK look at the valve under the sink that feeds the dishwasher. make sure it has not gotten turned off. Sometimes with hot water and cold also a chunk of crud will break off somewhere and get lodged blocking or restricting the flow. You may also have a filter somewhere on the DW to prevent junk from getting in. If there is a piece of crud a likely spot for it to be is at the valve connection under the sink where the DW hose connects to the hot water line. You can try unhooking the DW supply hose from the shut off(turn the shut off OFF first) and seeing if there is any junk in it. Shake the hose about 8" back from the end to try and send any junk in it flying across the kitchen. Also open the valve a bit with a bowl under it to blast any junk out. also see if it seems like a decent amount of water comes out to rule out any upstream plumbing issues.

I have Hobard LXIH dishwasher, it is working OK but during rinse cycle instead of taking in rinse agent it is actually fill rinse bottle back with water. Rinse pump is working, it was replaced in June

Check the rinse pump. The tubing needs to come from the supply into the bottom of the pump, and the pump should be running clockwise. If the pump tube is worn, the rinse pressure will blow through the pump filling the bottle

Kenmore dishwasher will not fill with water model no 630.1609406. It will run a full cycle but not fill. Water was temp shut off to replace kitchen sink and now dishwasher won't fill with water. No fill...

First, are you sure that the machine is not filling?
I go on calls all the time for this problem and it turns out than the machine fills but the wash motor does not run. This leaves soap in the bottom of the DW so it looks like it did not fill with water. This is a common problem in dishwashers that have not been run for a few months, and is quite common after a remodel. If it IS getting water, the motor is probably stuck. If it is Not getting water the first step is to locate the "over fill" float inside the dishwasher. This will be a round sort of mushroom looking thing on the floor of the machine near the door on the right or left. Make sure it moves freely up and down. It will only move about 1/4 inch but If it is stuck up, the machine will not fill. If float is O.K. then check the water source. Turn of water to DW. Remove the kickplate under DW door and disconnect the waterline from fill valve (should be on front left side of unit). Run waterline into bucket then turn on the water. If you don't get water call your plumber. If you get water then you need to check the fill valve. Connect a volt meter to the 2 wires on the fill valve. Start DW. First the diswasher should start draining, then it will start filling. At this point (a few minutes into the cycle) you should see 120v AC at the fill valve. If you do see 120v Ac, replace the valve. If you don't , then turn off the machine and check the float switch. This is located under the DW right under the mushroom thingy. The switch should have continuity when the DW is empty. If there is no continuity then replace the switch.

My plumber just installed a new water supply line for my dishwasher. Now the pump comes on but no water fills up in the machine. If I fill the bottom of the unit with water, it works just fine. Even though...

You don't know how many times I've heard and found the shutoff valve off or partly turned off. Water entering DW is from line pressure not pumping. Items to suspect (again) the water supply valve (would'nt be the first time a new valve is bad). The supply valve (3374621) at the Dw, the float safety switch (normally at front left side,)...remove lower rack, lift float housing up and down. You should hear a click both ways and the housing should be free. Is the Dw fill valve getting control signal from timer. Should be 120v for about 60 sec.

No water running through on start up

it won't fill unless the door is closed & locked.

Check your inlet supply valve (mine is in the basement 10 feet away from the dw)

Housekeeper put dish washing soap in - machine is full of bubbles. How do I clean it out without flooding the kitchen?

Turn off the hot water supply to the DW. Take a pot or pan. Fill the DW tub with COLD water, pump it out. Repeat this COLD water and pump out several times until the suds are gone. HOT water only makes the suds worse and prevents the pump from expelling the water.

KitchenAid Dishwasher fill up with water after use

Hi BB,
There are only 2 places the DW can get water from. One is the drain line and the other is the supply line. We need to eliminate one to diagnose the problem, OK?

The first picture is a drain hose gone wrong...

Inspect your drain hose. If it looks like the pic above, you gotta fix that. Even IF that's not the problem right now... it will be in the future (and MAY be contributing to the problem now). You'll need to loosen the clamp, remove the drain hose from its' fitting, pull as much slack as you can get from the DW and then make a "loop" in it before reconnecting it. Like this...
4cc45a0.jpg

The DW drain loop should be as high as the highest part of the sink...

I know that you have done a lot of experimenting in an attempt to figure this out. Just make sure that the drain hose is installed properly to eliminate it as the cause of the flood issue.

After you've made sure about the drain hose, leave the DW alone overnight. If you see water in the tub the next morning, you definitely have a failed valve on your DW. Since it's new (less than a year?) the valve is under warranty and will be replaced at no charge.

Hope this helps. If it's out of warranty let me know and I'll do the part look up for you and provide detailed replacement instructions, OK?

Bosch SHX46A (6 years old) Selected regular cycle, pressed On and closed door. Cycle did not start normally. Pump runs, but no water is coming into the DW. I confirmed the water supply line is turned on....

From your description, I doubt that the problem is door latch is the cause.
The first thing that a modern dishwasher does before it begins to fill with water is run the drain pump.  It appears that this DW is not progressing to the next cycle (inlet water) and because the pump runs even when the door is open, I agree that the controller card may have failed.
If possible, inspect all the wire connections (remove main power before you do this) ... if there is a loose connection, the controller could do odd things.
Good Luck!  Please report back what you find, OK?

Water won't fill

when facing the dw pull it out from under counter and on the left side there is a panel held on with 2 screws. take that off and under there are the float switches for the overflow. those switches is what causes the pump to run all the time but do nothing else.
