SOURCE: Ricoh Aficio 2035e SC542 service code

Actually the code is for fuser. Here you go.

To get in the service mode is reset 107 hold clear button.
To clear out the code go into service mode turn off and on machince. If that does not work. The solution is below. Hope this helps.

Fusing temperature warm-up error
The fusing temperature does not reach
the fusing standby temperature of 45oC
(113oF) within 9 seconds for the B135
(35 cpm) 14 seconds for the B138 (45
cpm) after switching on the main power
or closing the front cover, or 40
seconds after reaching 50oC the fusing
roller does not reach warm-up
temperature.

Solutions

• Fusing lamp defective
• Poor fusing unit connector
• Thermistor warped or broken
• Thermostat has tripped
• BICU defective
• Power supply board defective

SOURCE: service mode

Press the “Up/Down arrow” keys together for about 5 seconds, and then press the
“OK” key.

“SYSTEMver x.xx/ 1. Service” appears on the display.

The machine automatically goes off line when you enter the service mode.
enter SP 5810 and reset the SC 543 **** if again appears please do not reset it again because you may do bigger problem and damage more part than ware damaged in first place .
The SC code says that the termistor is damaged so check on the fusing unit dose the termistor is standing in good position or has dirt on the surface of he termistor.

I have a Ricoh MP C2500 and it shows SC202 error How do I fix this

Replace your polygon mirror motor or complete laser unit if you have one available. Replace this a.s.a.p as it can cause your BICU to pop. If your machine is already dead and you picked the code up on the web browser you need to replace the BICU as well. Do not replace the BICU without replacing the polygon motor. If you do you will pop the BICU again.

Where is the transfer belt contact sensor located?

Open right door.
Density sensors (5) are located above the transfer belt behind the black plastic cover. Use a damp rag to clean. If you are trying to clear SC400 code, you will also need to pull out the transfer belt assy enough to take off the silver plate that is on that end of the assembly and clean it too. Toner builds up on the silver plate.

Ricoh MP C2500 Error Code SC 561 what is this?

sc561 on an MP C2500 is a thermopile error. The thermopile may need to be replaced, but first make sure it is connected properly and hasn't been moved or loosened.

You'll need to go into service mode and execute SP 5810 in order to clear the sc561 code.
