Dear , after your reviewing your Problem , my thinks says that , its Internet Security Problem , may be its Firewall Problem, so check your Firewall Setting , then may be your problem will resolve.

I imagine you are behind a corporate or educational institutes firewall with content filtering.

If content filtering is turned on and updated by an internal or 3rd party source, then this would be blocked as well as facebook.

Many content filters will auto block anything with the word proxy in it too.

sorry to hear that, unfortunately, you cant unblock it. or its possible that its just a browser issue, or if its caused by a virus, making you think it is indeed blocked. one way to verify is if the reason why its blocked when you used a wrong password or username several times, things like that. but if you think theres no reason for facebook to block you, try using firefox or googlechrome. or try loggin in using another pc.

There will be an option on the router's web configuration page called URL blocking or web filtering. Your can unblock it from there. For accessing the router's web configuration page you have to type the default gateway on the brower's address bar. Your can your IE or Firefox.

Steps to find the default gateway

Start->Control panel->network and internet connections->network connection-> Right click Local area connection-> Status->Support

This will show you the default gateway something like 192.168.1.1

The open Internet explorer type 192.168.1.1 on address bar and unblock the facebook

The easiest way is to download mozilla firefox, and look for a free proxy on the internet. install firefox and go to tools/options/under the network tab connection, configure how firefox connects to the internet/manual proxy configuration/copy the proxy, as well select use proxy for all server protocols port 8080
