Desinstaller toolbar ask

I tried to post this in Spanish for you, but the FixYa website won't allow it, so here's the English version:

How do I uninstall the Toolbar?

You can easily uninstall the Toolbar using the instructions below:

Windows XP:

  1. Close all open Web browsers
  2. From the "Start" menu in Windows, select "Control Panel"
  3. Select "Add/Remove Programs"
  4. Select the program with the Ask logo and the text "Ask Toolbar" (or our partner's brand for a custom Toolbar)
  5. Click "Change/Remove"

Windows Vista:

  1. Close all open Web browsers
  2. From the "Start" menu in Windows, select "Control Panel". Under the "Programs" icon, select "Uninstall a program"
  3. Select the program with the Ask logo and the text "Ask Toolbar" (or our partner's brand for a custom Toolbar)
  4. Click "Uninstall" and then "Continue" to remove the Toolbar

Windows 7:

  1. From your computer's 'Start' button, select 'Control Panel'
  2. Click the "Uninstall a Program" option found under the "Programs" category
  3. Select the program with the Ask logo and the text "Ask Toolbar" (or our partner's brand for a custom Toolbar)
  4. Click 'Remove'

You can also uninstall the toolbar directly from the toolbar

  1. Click on the chevron (down arrow) on the Option button on the toolbar
  2. Select "Uninstall" from the drop down menu
  3. Click "Yes" when asked "Are you sure you want to uninstall this product"
  4. Close all open web browsers
  5. Click "OK" on the popup window

We ask that once you have uninstalled the Ask Toolbar that you reboot your computer to ensure that the uninstall process is complete.

My Labtop boot only the windows logo and stop there, what is the solution

Try disabling startup programs. Go to Start > Run (search in Win 7) and type MSConfig. In Startup tab, uncheck anything that you don't want Windows to load automatically. It will make Windows boot faster and use less resources while running. This just disables them in startup. Programs will still load, but when only you initiate.

Device has not pass windows logo testing

Don't worry aboutWindows logo testing. When that window pops up, press the "Continue Anyways" button and all will be fine. Microsoft charges for the Windows logo compataility certification and not all manufacturers want to pay for that. But their programs still work.

Installation conflict with Windows Logo Testing

IF YOU HAVE INSTALLED THIS SOFTWARE ON A COMPUTER RUNNING XP AND IT WORKED WELL AND YOU FEEL CONFIDENT WITH THE SOFTWARE, I WOULD NOT WORRY ABOUT THIS SCARE TACTIC YOU ARE GETTING ON THIS NEW COMPUTER. IS THIS NEW COMPUTER RUNNING XP,SP2 AND THE OTHER ONE RUNNING JUST XP OR XP,SP1? THIS MIGHT BE WHY YOU ARE GETTING THIS SCARE SCREEN. IF THIS SOFTWARE HAS BEEN WORKING ON A MACHINE WITH XP, IT WILL CONTINUE TO WORK ON XP.THE LOGO TESTING AND VALIDATION PROGRAM WERE MADE TO STOP PIRATE SOFTWARE. IT DOESN'T SOUND LIKE THIS IS THE CASE HERE. SOME OF THIS LOGO TESTING HAD A LOT TO DO WITH GETTING UPDATED SOFTWARE TO WORK WITH NEWER VERSIONS OF XP AND VISTA. LIKE I SAID IF YOU ARE COMFORTABLE WITH YOUR PROGRAM I WOULD NOT FEAR THE WARNING AND INSTALL YOUR PROGRAM AND WHEN YOU DO, JUST CHECK FOR ANY UPDATES TO YOUR SOFTWARE.

"This Software Has Not Passed Windows Logo Testing"?

Microsoft developed the Windows Logo Testing as a standard for all software to meet before receiving a "seal of approval' from Microsoft. Software must pass a series of tests in order to pass the Logo Test. However, just because a program or software has not met Logo Testing criteria, this is not an implication that the software should not be used or that it is not Windows Compatible. Pass and Fail Each test case has "Pass" and "Fail" conditions. A "Fail" for any one of the test cases for any one of the Logo Program requirements disqualifies the application for the "Designed for Windows XP" Logo. Sample Tests: Application must Support Autorun for CDs and DVD's Application must Install to Program Files by default Application must Support Add or Remove Programs properly Application must Support new visual styles Application must Migrate from Windows 98 to Windows XP Home Edition Application must not require a reboot inappropriately You can still use this software with Windows.
