Contact the manufacturer, a lot of times they will replace this for you for free or very low cost.
you just have to ship it to them.

unfortunately a lot of these printers the inkpads are not sold.

Can you Help me unclog my nozzle? Epson Picturemate PM240. Head cleaning 3x not successful: no blue ink at all. Print cartridge is brand new and showing 100% full. It tells me to replace the print...

Inkjet printers need to be used frequently to prevent inkdrying out in the print head nozzles.
If the print head cleaning maintenance routine does not clear the blockages, then print head needs replacing, but it may be expensive.
It may be more cost effective to buy a later model and better printer thanreplace the print head.

Code unable to print 51

Hi, Error 51 means that the purge inkpad is full.
This means you have 3 choices:
1- If it's still under warranty, activate it 2- Replace the inkpad, but sadly Brother does not provide spare parts and as such it will be extremelly difficult to find a compatible one. 3-Get in contact with BROTHER to get an estimate of the cost to replace the ink tank.
Hope i was of any help. If so, please rate me. Thank you

When turning on my Picture Mate,it says ERROR: Paper is jammed in the printer, remove the jammed paper, then Press (OK). I have done this many times and still get that message. What do I do?

I own a PictureMate Epson personal photo lab. It has been sitting on my desk for over 1 year with the message Error:Paper is jammed in the printer. Remove the jammed paper, then press (OK). I have done this, many times, I have talked to a "solution Person" and unfortunately they have told me it can't be fixed. I am just warning anyone else, not to buy this product. I have printed less than 100 pictures and it now doesn't work anymore. Just DON'T BUY THIS EPSON PRODUCT

My picturemate 500 is stating it needs a new ink pad

there are actually three ink pads in this model, only one has a sensor and is monitored by an electronic counter. there is a long one located under the the print head as it is printing, and a small rectangular one located on the far right side of the printer and this is the one that gets used during cleaning, and it also helps to park the printhead when you turn the power off The biggest on is located on the very bottom of the plastic base of the printer. The pad you are speaking about is the rectangular one. The only way to reach this pad is to remove the upper assembly of the printer--which means you remove alot of screws the main circuit board, the plastic covers on the ends---5 quick connctors on the back of the mainboard and a total of 8 ribbon connectors--ALL CAN BE DONE WITH NO PSECIAL TOOLS REQUIRED!

A sensor WITHIN the main ink waste pad indicates when the pad is getting soaked. There is also an electronic "counter" which can be reset off of the mainboard, if you have the right software. The photomate 500 has a design limit of roughly 5200 pictures before this sponge gets all soaked up with ink. I have just been using qtips to soak up the ink. I cannot find parts **** as print heads, or inkpads to order online.

If you like, make a post here and I will share pictures I have taken (plus some pages from the service manual......

Comes up with error e71 cartridge not in have cleaned contacts still same message

as u know all printers there is a reservoir for exessive ink or to drain the ink in self cleaning other than spray to a paper.either the reservoir is full or it was electronic valued how much the printer has drain out the ink.if it was electronic modern printer you have to find a technician software base on the printer brand to reset the counter and if there is already in your pc you can go to control panel >printer>choose your printer type icon and right click >go to properties>look for maintenance
