Question about Philips GoGear HDD6330 MP3 Player
I have re-installed from the beginning and used the device manager (which says it is not connected, when it is) and have downloaded all upgrades. The device is not damaged.
It went wonlky when trying to synch with Win Media Player 11 (it worked fine with 10)...it seems to be in a constant state of synching without the computer recognizing it.
You must roll back to WMP 10 - this device is completely incompatible with WMP11 - instructions are on both the Philips and Microsoft websites
After rolling back to 10:
disconnect the player from the computer, turn it off, hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard.
