Depending on your system, you can switch the phone to program, press the CO button and dial 1 105 store. If it's a Feature button, jsut dial the extension (105) and store. IIRC the "2" is assumed on a feature button.

Can i set a dss button as a page feature? can i do this via pc prgramming by selecting one of the dss buttons on the 24 button phone, as a 1-touch dial, and then put in 330 as the 1-touch number?

You could, but it would be a whole lot easier to press PROGRAM the one-touch button on the right and dial 330 STORE.

Takes less time :-)

I wish to assign a flexible CO button to switch from day to night mode on a panasonic Kx-T7433 and can't find a resolution that works can anyone help?

There isn't a magic program to do that. The codes 781 782 on the intercom can be programmed under TWO buttons for DAY and NIGHT, or you possibly could program one button to dial 78 and you manually dial 1 or 2, but only the DSS console can be programmed for single button D/N switching.

How do i assign Extensions to the KX-T7433? Thanks

Pick a button that you want to use. Then from an idle phone, press PROGRAM 99 the button and dial 1 + ext no STORE. The 1 tells the system to make the button an extension DSS button.

I have the message CO Not assigned ,How can assig CO? panasonic kx-t7730

Press program button, select button you want to program, dial 0 then dial CO number as in 001 according to which CO line you wish to program. If you are not sure which CO line is missing, check the button programming by the same method. Press program button then any programmable button and it will be identified in the LCD screen. The CO lines may be 2 digit if you have an older system as in 01, 02, etc

I have a KX-T7456. Set 3 CO buttons for speed dial with new names and extensions. Busy light does not come on when those 3 lines are in use. Works on all the other numbers.

It's not speed dial, it's DSS. Names come from the directory (sys prog 004). The button programs from personal programming PROG 99? button 1+ext+STORE.

Programming extensions in the phone

If you have manual(z), they should. One, the OM (operating manual) will tell you how to set up your personal programming.

The buttons on the left side of a 7730 have lights, the buttons on the right do not, so they are programmed differently. Left side is DSS, right side is PF (personal feature). If you have spare left side buttons, press PROGRAM the button and dial 1 plus the ext number and STORE. The light will now follow the activity of the extension you programmed.

The buttons on the right have no lights, so you can only put in extension speed dial numbers. For that, press PROGRAM, the button, and dial the 3 digit extension number and STORE.

Depending on the system your phone is connected with, you can just press the button to dial, or you have to pick up the handset or SP-PHONE and select intercom (if not selected) and it will dial that extension, or if the system is a TAW, TD or higher, just press the button.

KX-T7730 phone. Need to reprogram one of the PF buttons as a CO2 button. I accidently messed up the programming of this button while trying to program a different PF button as a one-touch dialing...

Just so we're on the same page, the PF buttons are the 12 buttons on the right and their ONLY function is one-touch dialing. They can't be CO buttons. The 12 buttons on the left are called CO buttons and they can be programmed to do a number of things, including CO, DSS, and feature access buttons.

To reprogram the button, press PROGRAM, the button, the dial 0 + the CO number (1-8) and STORE. Extensions are 1+ext and one-touch are 2+. Other features are in the programming guide.

The PF buttons are programmed by just dialing the digits, but if it calls out, you must dial an access code first, usually "9".

Find a spare button on the left side of the phone and press PROGRAM, the button, and dial 1 plus her extension STORE.

Now the button becomes her DSS (Direct station select) and busy lamp,.

Extension Lights Don't Light Up

When you programmed them, did you press PROG the button 1 plus the ext, or did you use 2? The digit 1 makes it a DSS button, 2 a speed dial.
