Possible that the water level controller switch is defective. this is normally a pressure sensor and *** the water flows up the diaphragm within contracts to switch the contact and so trigger the circuit to stop the flow and move to the next cycle.
please check this out.

I just replaced the drain pump and don't think that's the problem. it pumps just fine, it just doesn't stop pumping and move on to the next cycle, which would be rinse or spin.

some machines use a rinse spin cycle in conjunction so that the fresh water is introduced and spun out through the clothes to remove the suds completely in which case the pump will be working all the time to pump out the dirty water.. If the machine will not move on to the next cycle check out the timer cycle switch

No water supply

There are a few checks. Try the #1 first and then proceed to the next one til you get water. Here are a few checks:
  1. Turn off the supply and disconnect the supply line to the dishwasher, turn the water on to flush the line and to check for flow
  2. If you have water to to the supply line, your problem is the water solenoid. Replace the water solenoid.
  3. Turn off the supply, and disconnect the supply line at the shut off, turn the water on to check for flow.
  4. Shut the water off to the house, disassemblehe shut off, clean debris out of shut off. It may need to be flushed. I recommend using a hose to direct the flow into a 5 gallon bucket while someone cycles the water supply.
  5. Replacement of shut off is next.

Please rate this solution.
