Question about Televison & Video
What you need to do is follow the instructions in your manual for setting your home theater to Region 1. Please be advised that every DVD and blu-ray player is designed to allow only three region code changes during the life of the device, or it is permanently disabled- this is to prevent DVD piracy.
After your home theater is set to region 1, all US DVD's will play fine, but any that you have that are from region 3 (southeast Asia) or region 5 (India, Russia) or any other region will not work anymore.
Do not trust any internet sites that promise to unlock your player or set it to "region free" because chances are very high that the attempt will fail and your player will be disabled.

Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
