If the phone has hung up due to errors in the software you can first try a reset . So to reset remove the battery and the memory card from the phone. Using your PC , scan the memory card for any corrupt files or media files with virus- it is possible when they are downloaded from unsafe sites. If so remove or format the card. Now replace the card and battery and switch on the phone. Try also to restore the phone to factory setting susing the default code given for the modeI as it is not specified. If the phone hangs up then it is confirmed that the software is corrupt and will need a reinstallation. Seeking help from the authorized service /support centre is most ideal. Take estimate and decide.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Try this code *#7780# it's for restoring the setting in a soft way. (selecting 'settings only will reset all preference settings. Restoring will not delete any personal data. After restoring, the phone will restart)
where as *#7370# it's for hard way (lets you restore settings and delete personal data. You will not be able to use or switch off the phone during the restore, even for emergencies Restoring may take several minutes. After restoring, the phone will restart)
And if this is not working or helping you than refer to the nearest mobile service centre for FLASHING

Connot dtect a bluetoth i wuld like to reprogram

Hello,

If your phone doesn't detects a bluetooth enabled device/phone, there are many things to check on before you reprogram/flash your phone, first check if the bluetooth device is on but is kept hidden as for security, you can select "shown to all" option on the phone,

or

if everything's okay with the other phone then you can try restoring settings on your phone, for restoring the setting you can go to settings menu of your phone and factory settings or restore on your mobile phone, it depends upon the model of the phone, for Nokia phone you can just go to settings>phone settings>restore and the default restore code will be 12345.

Hope this helps you

I have nokia 6500s. It shows black screen after some time and again come in stable state. Some times it cannot accept memory card. Please help me to hard reset my phone.

All you have to do is:
From MENU goto SETTINGS, When there scroll down and select 'Restore Factory Setting'.
There are two options in there:
"Restore Settings only"
and
"Restore all"
Select "Restore All"
When done the phone will delete every thing on the Phone memory(C:\)(contacts,picture,messages etc)
and also restore phone to its original settings and will restart.(use 12345 or 0000 default code)

This proceedure is mostly common on S40 phone.
or try the code *#7370# (for hard format)
or *#7780#(to restore setting only)
Hope this explain and solve the problem
