Try to run the disk cleanup of your PC, click Start-All Programs-Accessories-System Tools-Disk Cleanup. Your PC stores files as you use it and the more files your computer stores the slower it gets.

What you have is a big-time clue that your system has been infected by a virus/Trojan horse
Rootkit/Spyware/Worm/Malware of some type.
The first step in tuning up a computer is ridding it of all Malware/Spyware Infection(s). The last
time someone asked me to tune up a computer like yours, my first Malware scan of the
system located 212 viruses.

Free Anti-virus software: www.download.com

Pick (a) Avast! or (b) AVG free anti-virus, and start your tune-up with a deep system scan.

My fonts are way to small on facebook

You may find that the default font size for your Facebook home page is too small.
There is not a way to adjust the font size of your home page through Facebook, but you can use the zoom function on your Internet browser.
This process only takes a simple keyboard shortcut and is compatible with several Internet browsers, including Firefox, Safari and Internet Explorer.

Open facebook.com.
Enter your Facebook log-in information and click the "Login" button.
Hold down the Ctrl key and press the "+" key. Press the "+" key several times, until your Facebook home page font is at a size that is to your liking.

Sometimes windows is installing or configuring updates that takes windows a long time to boot. WebRepOverall ratingThis site has no rating(not enough votes)
If its not due to installation of a program or configuring updates then the only reason left is windows internal errors.

DS,

See the picture below - I hope you can see it. We are limited in picture size. This procedure is known as "clearing the cache." If it hasn't been done in a while or ever, your PC can become "clogged" with internet junk and sometimes stop the machine from working properly.

Just to explain the picture:

Launch your internet browser (this is for Internet Explorer)
In the top menu bar, click on Tools
Click on Internet Options
Click on Delete files, then check the "delete all offline content"
Click delete files, then click OK (if you have never done this, it could take several minutes to complete) You will see an hourglass
After the routine completes, click on "Delete Cookies" This will also take a little time, but usually not as much

Close the windows when it is all done. Re-boot your PC - you might want to turn it all the way off, then re-start. NOTE: clearing the cache will clear pre-loaded information about some web sites, so when you go to them later, they may take longer to load until the info is-re-stored in your PC.

The cache should be cleared weekly.
