Two of the three jack connection in the back of my computer aren't working. It's been going on for several weeks now and the system has been restarted many times. Is there any way to reboot the connections?

Take out the sound card and reseat it. If that doesnt work, you may need to buy a new one.
They are pretty inexpensive and easy to install.

Good luck

If it's not the cables that you are using, it could be a number of things. Bad solder connection or corrosion on one or more ribbon cables. Maybe a weak return contact on a 1/4 inch female jack. Try putting a signal into the mixer and then inserting a male 1/4 inch plug into the different jacks to find out which jacks disconnect the signal when inserted. Even when they are not used these jacks tend to become slightly corroded and the signal is lost. You can give the jacks a burst of contact spray and 'work' a male plug in and out of the jack a dozen times.

How do I connect this keyboard to the computer

Keyboards connect several ways. Older systems use a PS/2 connector (round) that plugs into the purple/gray jack on the back of the computer. The mouse plugs into the green jack next to it.
If you have a USB keyboard, it plugs into any USB slot.
PS/2 connections must be made with the computer off. USB connections work any time. If one slot doesn't work, try another.
If the keyboard doesn't work, try another.

What might be happening is that your system is not updated. You may want to head to the options menu, go to Wii setting and look for the Wii System Update button and click that. That might be the solution.

I just got an x540 speaker system from my freind but i didnt get all the jacks what do i need?

Um, didn't get all the jacks meaning that you don't have the yellow, green, and black cables that run from your speakers to your computer, or the jacks on the speakers themselves? You can go to Logitech's website and find the cable I'm sure, about how much it will cost, can't exactly say but possibly not cheap.. other solution is to go to walmart, kmart, radio shack, anywhere they sell electronics, and get yourself three audio cables with 1/8 in jacks on both ends... then just match colors and connect!

I just bought a H2400 monitor with built in speaker. I connected it but the speaker does not seem to work. What am I doing wrong?

Did your monitor come with a separate cable for the speaker? Generally they're short cables with a stereo jack on each end (the same as you'd find on headphones). The cable should be plugged into the back of the monitor as well as the Audio Out Port on your computer (generally you'll have two or three ports - you want the one that's color coded green).

If you have the cable attached correctly, and still aren't getting sound, then you may want to check you system speaker settings. You may have an icon in your taskbar that looks like a speaker, or you may need to open it via the Control Panel. You'll just want to check that none of the channels are muted, and the volume is turned up.

If you need additional help, just respond to this solution and I'll see what I can do to help. Good Luck!

How do the wires go into the back of the creature?

First go to this site and download and install this codec pack. Also, make sure you have your speakers set as you default sound device.

JBL Creature 2 are a computer speaker system designed and sold by JBL. The system is made up of two satellite speakers and an omni-directional subwoofer. The speaker system connects directly to a computer's available sound card output jack or a laptop's stereo output jack. Occasionally, problems can occur with the sound quality and connection with the speaker system. If there is no sound coming from the speakers, check the cable connections. Ensure the satellite speakers are firmly connected to the matching jacks on the back of the Creature's subwoofer. The connections are color coded and, in addition, each speaker connector is shaped differently to fit only into one jack. Ensure the output cable is firmly connected to the subwoofer audio in jack and the computer's audio-out jack. Ensure the power button on the back of the subwoofer is pushed inward. If everything is connected properly, the green lights on the underside of the satellite speakers will glow.If there is still no sound, tap the right-hand side audio-increase button on the right satellite speaker until sound is heard. Also ensure there is audio playing from the computer. Double check the lower right-hand side of the window's main screen and look for a speaker icon. If the icon has a red slash over it, click the icon and uncheck the "mute" option.

Hope this helps

If Embarq cannot or willnot help you, drop them and get another service.
First connect your modem directly to the computer to isolate the problem. If it solves problem then difficulty is in the router. Then contact the router manufacturer.

If problem persists the Embarq should help you.
