Question about HP OfficeJet 6110 All-In-One InkJet Printer

Operation stop after one use. All you heard is a continuous shutter sounds found on the scanner or photostat copy section. How can isolate this kind of trouble?

This is already a possible hardware issue.

If its making unexpected or noisy sounds while operating gears inside of it is causing the issue.You cannot fix it unless you change gears inside of it which is very mechanical and only the manufacturer can do.

Try calling Hp support 18004746836 because for this type of issues they can enroll you to their loyalty program where you can upgrade your printer to newer version.Take advantage of it!

I have an HP 4345 MFP that's printing nothing but blank pages when copying, sending a print job to the printer. Im not even able to print the config page. All comes out blank. Does anyone have any idea...

do half test page test find any image created on catridge drum, if no image found then
Check laser scanner assembly shutter fully operating or not while catride access unit closed, if unable to check, remove the shutter from laser scanner assm
Increase toner density
set factory settings,
If image on drum no print on paper, check transfer roller, contacts, if dirty replace T.roller, no result replace Power supply board..

My copier ricoh aficio mp 2000 makes a continuous creaking like an broken or consumed gear. what's the problem?


MP2000s often have creaking and squeaking issues. Typically it's the brass bushings that ride on roller shafts, so if you can isolate it to an area and clean and lube the bushings, you might be able to fix the noise.

I have copy and pasted this solution from another question I answered from a person with the same issue. Several people have reposnded that this solution helped them very much.
This is either your toner cartridge or more likely the plastic arm that opens the laser shutter is broken. When you insert a toner and close the access door, there is a plastic arm that opens the laser shutter. If this shutter does not open it blocks the laser and results in blank copies. If the arm is broken you CAN open the laser shutter manually and block it open. What you need to do it open the cartridge access door, remove the cartridge and look for a 1/2 inch wide slot running from left to right in the metal frame that is in the back upper section where the cartridge goes. The plastic arm that operates the black plastic shutter is on the right side. If broken you can manually lift up the shutter and "block" it open using something like a folded up scrap of paper. I know it sounds strange but I have used this repair on several of my customers machines and they have all worked fine since. If you can not find or effect the repair yourself at least you will know where to point the service person when they come out to look at it.

Scanner failure


Solution one: Check the scanner light Make a color copy of any document by pressing the Start Copy Color button on the product control panel. While the product is making the copy, lift the scanner lid slightly to see if the scanner light is visible.
  • If the scanner mechanism moves across the scan bed, but the light is not lit, proceed to Solution six: Service the product .
  • If the light is lit, proceed to the next solution.
Solution two: Check operating conditions Extreme temperatures can affect the operation of the product. Make sure the operating conditions match those recommended in the User Guide provided with the product. Solution three: Check the power connections
  1. Make sure that the part number on the power supply matches the part number listed in the User Guide .
  2. Disconnect the power cord from any power strips or surge suppressors, and then plug it directly into a wall outlet.
  3. Try making a color copy by pressing the Start Copy Color button on the product control panel.
    • If the copy job is successful, you do not need to continue troubleshooting.
  4. If the error message displays again, temporarily move the product to a different room, or plug the power cord into a different wall outlet.
  5. Try making a color copy by pressing the Start Copy Color button on the product control panel.
    • If the copy job is successful, you do not need to continue troubleshooting.
    • If the error message displays again, proceed to the next solution.
Solution four: Perform a power cycle
  1. Turn the product off.
  2. Unplug the power cord from the product.
  3. Wait 30 seconds, and then connect the power cord to the product.
  4. Turn the product on.
  5. Make a color copy by pressing the Start Copy Color button on the control panel.
  • If the copy job is successful, you do not need to continue troubleshooting.
  • If the error message displays again, proceed to the next solution.
Solution five: Reset the product Follow these steps to reset the product. Step one: Perform a partial reset
  1. Disconnect the power cord from the product.
  2. Press and hold # and 3 while reconnecting the power cord to the product, and then release both buttons.
  3. Try making a color copy by pressing the Start Copy Color button on the product control panel.
    • If the partial reset resolves the issue, you do not need to continue troubleshooting.
    • If the error message displays again, proceed to the next step to try a semi-full reset.
Step two: Perform a semi-full reset
  1. Disconnect the power cord from the product.
  2. Press and hold # and 6 while reconnecting the power cord to the product, and then release both buttons.
  3. Try making a color copy by pressing the Start Copy Color button on the product control panel.
Solution six: Service the product

It will have a 50% discount on the upgrade printer for you with hardware and software covered by a one year warranty which you can extend upto 3 years on the spot

  1. Turn the printer power off, and then turn on the printer power.
  2. If the message persists, check the print cartridge for damage.

  4. Replace the cartridge if damaged.
If the message continues to persist, then download the printer software based on operating system and reinstall.

it was not necessry to replace so many parts if you go as per proper procedure.please proceed as 1 isolate horizontal output section from power supply & make power supply ok. 2 if it becomes ok check hor osc,driver&h/output section. 3 if it is ok connect power input to hor.section which was isolated. 4 check for loose contact or print. 5 put on tv .
