Question about Linksys -Cisco Wireless-G VPN Broadband Router [ WRV54G ] (107013)
Do a complete reset on the router how to do this is easy just unplug the router from the electricity wait about 25 seconds. If you are connected to a modem from your ISP do the same thing also power down your computers unhook the cables and wait for about 25 seconds. Then after that is said and done go ahead and plug in the computers first. Then go wait until they settle down into Windows.
Then go ahead and plug in the modem and the router or the router whichever you have unplugged plug it all back in let it settle down and look for the DYNAMIC IP to settle in and create the ports and address's. Once this is complete log in to your wireless connection. You should have a internet access icon at the bottom right hand side of your desktop.
Once this is complete if you do not have an internet connection get a toothpick on the router there will be a small hole either on the back of the router that says reset push that in for about 2-3 seconds then let that boot up. You should have Internet going on now. I hope that this assisted you with your question also you will be able to access the router web page by typing in 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1 that will log you into the web site there you can configure your router your connection to the web password is without the quotes is "admin" for the Username and the password which you usually do not need to add but in case you do is also "admin" this will get you on board to set things up. Thanks for using FixYa! Do not forget to place a vote for me if I assisted you in any way. "Guru John"

Try to find out if it is the power pack or if it is the router itself. If there are no lights on it may be the power pack. If you have a volt/ohm meter you can read the end for voltage. If it is the power pack you can try Walmart for a universal one. If you think the router is bad it is time to replace it.
