Check power cable
Try connecting it to directwal outlet not power strip
check the power cables if it has power adapter with green ligh on it if it has then check the power cord connected directly on wall outlet try to use it in some devices compatible to it
lastly take advantage to you canon support if you printer is covered with warranty they can find better solutions even replacement too!
