Hi, my son has a Clarion Head Deck in his car, model CRH43D and can't unlock it. How can this be remedied please?, thank you, Annemarie.

You need a composite video cable to the Clarion Video input. The usual ipod adapter is for audio only. If you have an AV ipod adapter and you still don't have video, the signal is not strong enough for the clarion to see it and you need a 12volt pre amp. you can find them online starting around 25. Hope this helps

yellow 12v battery

red 12v accessory

black earth

blue/white amp rem

blue power antenna

orange/white illumination

white fr left +

white/black fr left -

grey fr right +

grey/black fr right -

green rear left +

green/black rear left -

purple rear right +

purple/black rear right -

Hi, your head unit has the standard color code for aftermarket units, but you can download the manual here:

Cant find hand brake wire for clarion dvd head unit model no. vrx486vd well i cant get video to work earthed the grass green wire and nothing please help!!

i have the same model its the green wire next to the earth wire bottom row make sure u earth it otherwise the unit can be frustrating at times!!!!
